Update downloaded it again and it said no disk in drive then started to update seems to be ok now. Thanks

Did you redownload the launcher? Thereâs a new one out that fixed it for me. Itâs 2kb larger then the previous one I downloaded yesterday.

Yeah I will say it took a few tries to get the launcher to start up but after about three goes it started downloading right quick. Still waiting to see if the game starts up though. In progress.
I am also still getting the disk error problem, followed by the situation posted above: Failed to start installation subsystem. Hope it can be fixed soonâŚ

Okay, can you all try to install the Launcher Again if something went wrong? Maybe the automatical update didn´t work, and this could fix it already. If not, we have again some work on this to do, because something else is broken in this case.

installed the launcher again and all seems to be working as it should, currently at 74% downloaded, cant wait to start again when its downloaded!! thx wh!!

Earlier attempts werenât success today: Unknown bundle setup error. Iâve downloaded the launcher 1 hour ago and it works fine; the game is downloaded now, seems well done! (w7HP,x64,SP1).

ok so i just tried to update my game & got the message âfailed to start installation subsystemâ
i unistalled the game,logged into my profile & tried to re download the beta
i just get the same message

I recently bought the game, (a few days before the newest beta patch went live) and I really liked the game. However, as we all know the launcher had some issues with that update. Before the game was fixed I tried using the launcher many times. I finally got frustrated and deleted all files on my computer related to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and tried downloading the launcher fresh. Obviously this was still before the patch came out that made the launcher work, so when I tried again it did not work. However, this morning I tried again and thankfully it opened the launcher and downloaded the update. It finished the download and it gave me the button to start the game from the launcher, which I clicked only to have a new pop-up window say âFailed to launch the game: The system cannot find the file specifiedâ Does this have something to do with me deleting all Kingdom Come files from my computer yesterday? If so, is there any way to get the game working again?
