I have just spent the last damm hour trying to figure out how I sleep! there is no clear information on how you do it! do I puch a button? do I need a bed? Do I rent a room at the tavern??? This is really doing my head in one, So please could someone explain in simple words thanks!
You need a bed!
There are lots of beds on map. In camps in building… you just need to find them. Well they actually dont look like beds just few sticks with grass or cloth on it. It depends on where is that bed. If it is in bed it looks like sticks with grass. If it is in house then it is like seat with leather on it.
lol seriously?? thats a bit strange! I would have tought they would have someting more like a pile of hay or along thoe lines! haha well thank you very much! thats my evening made!
Did anyone completed Jerry’s poisoning? I can cure him, but refusing to blame Marianna is dead end in conversation with Jerry. Finding something against her may be viable option but … Jerry clearly lies and even admits he just wants something against Marianna, his wife has rotten meat, witch says it’s from rotten meat, fisherman says they had only beer and they argument (which does not add any option into conversation with Bailiff anyways, but it supports version from Marianna). I guess you can make extra money from giving him potion, but that’s all … ofc I did not tried to make poision and pour it into the pot in tavern
I have not had time to test it in the beta but Here is walk through I made for a bug workaround in alpha 0.5 (last build before beta).
I just completed it (and will have to do it again because it locked up during the next quest and I’d forgotten to save it…) Ho hum.
You need to get confirmation of the symptoms of gruel poisoning from the herbalist before you make up the potion. Then with the clues you already know the Bailiff will accept the evidence implicating Jerry.
Thanks a lot, I can try next time as I have to play game from start for the 3rd time as I’ve broke 2nd game and I dont have fisherman in first one. Actually village seems quite empty and struck by zombie apocalypse before you solve annoying soldier.
I guess talking to fisherman before Jerry gets upset (giving you options blame Marianna or f**k off) or healing Jerry before asking might be the key…well, 2nd option does not make much sense cause you need some information for herb woman. Or mentioning rotten meat too early perhaps cause he starts defending his wife (if there is such option).
Confession of his woman is quite nice
PS: this one, cumans and lost sword are likely only quest I was unable to complete in alpha. Mostly cause I was waiting for save/load and I bought alpha shortly before beta.
Has anyone found a readable book (not the alchemy book)?
Has anyone found a recipe for cooking? Or knows how cooking works?
Is there a helmet with visor?
Is there a dungeon in the beta?
4x no from me
There is the Cuman Shisak with Visor and Aventail.
Not seen any HRE equipment with a visor though, only coifs, caps, Bascinet and Kettle Hats.
Has anyone found a readable book (not the alchemy book)?
Not that I’m aware of.
Has anyone found a recipe for cooking? Or knows how cooking works?
Crafting is a closed tab in the Character Screen, so I’d assume it’s not implemented yet.
Is there a helmet with visor?
Visor? No.Closed faced helm? Yes. It’s on a Cuman warrior.
Is there a dungeon in the beta?
Does Reeky’s cave count? Otherwise I haven’t found any yet.
Sometimes I can’t just understand crime system and fights. I made a video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmU-TncH8M4 - with some fights, it starts without sound, but the start is pretty much within 10 minutes with some saves/loads. I killed cuman dressed as orange cuman to get better cuman armor, I used some parts against bad guys, I dressed normally cause I scared people and moved everything to horse. At 1:28 i was attacked by soldier. Why? And it was not the only case.
2:45 who’s that? bandit?
3:32 lesson is chivalry … was it crime to hit and even kill that boy when guest was completed? Bailiff was looking for murderer, he called soldiers, but I was not suspicious.
Does a second alchemy book count? no didn’t think so, no not yet.
I do not believe its fully implemented currently the only option is to drop stuff into the cooking pot. Im still looking for a spoon to equip to see if it will give more options.
Cuman has a fully enclosed helmet, if your looking to test vision impairment, its not implemented.
I have so many jokes for this but Ill reserve myself, No no dungeons to be found.
there are so many questions about this game that I have found no answers for as yet, but if a good information page or whatnot is available, I would love to have a link to it! Some of the things I have found no answer for really give me an “untethered” feel in the game, as not knowing so many things is frustrating. Here are a few:
Food–I know food spoils, but what signifies in your inventory when something is spoiled? The various headings on the information page are not explained–some I have figured out, like quantity, but others, like the “heart” I have no idea about. I just found out last night that I had obviously eaten spoiled food, as I got a debuff I had never seen before–skull with crossed fork and knife–but so much information is lacking for me right now, I feel rather frustrated. Please tell me this is all explained somewhere? How do I get rid of the poison debuff-alchemy?–which I have not done yet?
How about fighting skills? Are they leveled up just by fighting? Is there a way to make strength go up and be able to carry more, or wear heavier armor without a penalty?
Horse–old “glue-bucket”–has stats, so can it be leveled up and can it get faster? How, just by riding it a lot? How about carrying items in the horse’s inventory–how in the heck do you move something from your inventory into your “saddlebags” (horse inventory)?
So many questions, so I hope there is a webpage somewhere that explains all this and more. Any help would be much appreciated!
Its health, the heart symbol, goes red and reaches 0. Then it’s spoiled.
Yes, alchemy. Not getting poisoned in the first place also works.
Yes, fighting. Hit things with your sword and your fencing and strength will improve.
I’ve never leveled a horse, but presumably? There will also be multiple types of horses with various stats.
X key. You press it to move. Hold it down to drop. It says that at the bottom of the menu.
I worked all that stuff out just by playing the game.
Thanks for the reply! Hopefully more info will be made available soon,
I followed the quest line and went to talk to the quarry master.
Suddenly out of nowhere 2 npcs entered the quarry site and went after the quarrymaster chasing him much like benny hill then turned toward me to hit me!! lol
I mean sorry wtf are you? bandits, guards etc? some clue please on what happened or is it total crazy AI?
