Color grading and chromatic aberration spice up the gfx even more

just as the title said… I only tested this a bit, but apparently both CA and CG couldn’t be forced by a user.cfg file so I had to use the console every time, maybe it’s case sensitive or something, further examination needed

but those 2 really do spice up the gfx a bit, just don’t be too liberal with the CA lol…

I want to ask the dev as to why both aren’t enabled in the game currently?

ps, you can google what is CA actually do, while CG increase the contrast of the whole scene a bit.

post comparison shots. all the ca i’ve seen before looked terrible.

I’ve seen CA in GTA V First person mod, and its look terrible

well maybe I was wrong about CA, but the color grading is worth it…

Oh no… why is CA integrated!?
Please @warhorse, disable this effect.
It looks terrible, it’s useless and makes no sense.

hahaha relax man chromatic aberration is not integrated or forced, but it’s there via console command

r_chromaticaberration = 0/1-infinity, the bigger the number the worse the rgb separation effect.

r_colorgrading = 0/1 turn on/off the color grading, currently the effects is just raising the contrast of the whole scene but technically it’s supposedly to be more than that.

Sometimes an non avtivated but integrated effect can be an future idea^^
But I’ll keep an eye on it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
