Same here, after first loading it says hit enter to continue, after that menu shows up for a sec and than it freezes.

Also got a CTD twice with a “DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG”. Please note that I got some other issues recently, in other games, what seemed to be caused by directx.
System:
CPU: i7 4770
GPU: Palit GTX780 Super Jetstream (drivers 344.11)
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1866Mhz

Details: High (on appcrash), Very High (on DX error)

Will try to replicate the issue more often at a later time.

same error here (DXGI_ERROR), it happens randomly at the start or later at the game, so far no reproduction possible

- DXGI has a number of relevant codes which would assist in identifying the issue
- OS and software versions are important, (especially GPU and DirectX

You’re lucky you at least get that! When I click PLAY on steam, I see the loading icon for a few seconds and that’s it. The game will not start/load…
To fix this error you need to have Windows service pack 1 installled (windows 7) if you are not sure you have it please go to Start ->Controlepanel .-> Windows update and run the updates through there 
After playing for about 15-20 minutes i will get a Cry engine error and it will crash i have an gtx 4gb that is direct X 11 compatible 16 gb ram and a AMD fx 6300 processor but it will keep crashing no madder where i am please help?

can you possibly provide me with bit more info please? I’m particularly interested in - is this your first time playing the game or you were able to play the previous versions with no problems? Did you alter the graphic settings? Do you use Continue or you playing New Game?

Did you have a blue screen error or you meant you just had to hard reset your pc?
i got it about 3 days ago my graphics were on medium with a lot of stutter. I was just playing and all of a sudden poof ! cry engine error.

your computer specs might not be good enough to play the game.
in my case the game starts only to crashed minutes after that. It really is not triggered by any location or action it just happens random. And each time I have to restart the game all over again.
