HUSSITE WARS - Main story subject of the next acts?

When I discovered, that the “czech hussite RPG” was not so “hussite” as it seemed to be, when the only source of information about the game was Dan Vávra’s Warhorse blog, I was kinda dissapointed.

But since the first act happens in 1403, is it possible, that the 2nd ant the 3rd act COULD possibly happen between 1419 and 1434?

I think it would be so AWESOME, if you could decide, if you want to fight with the hussites or against them, and you could take part in the first prague defenestration, be a friend with Jan Žižka or fight against him…

There are so many posibilites and I hope, that hussites would be present in Act II and III.

I hope this answers your question.

Maybe future Kingdom Come games will take place during the Hussite War era. Who knows? Also, this game’s name is ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance’, not ‘Hussite Wars’. I think, Hussite Wars would have limited what they are trying to do too much, story-wise, recreating an authentic medieval world (not just battles) and so on.

Well, the subject of that topic was about guns and I guess, that 15-30 years, if we are talking about guns in the 15th century, were not “significant”.

But that doensn’t mean, that the setting couldn’t be between 1419 and 1434, so my hopes are still up.

I would really appreciate an answer directly from the team, thanks anyway.

But you have to consider how old the protagonist would be at that time. You play Henry in all three Acts. So, in terms of time, they just can’t stretch the story too far.

The team have already said that Deliverance will be just about liberation of king Wenceslas. This means that Act 1-3 will take place in 1403-1404. But don’t worry, Hussite revolution shall be the main setting for future Kingdom Come games. Dan Vávra mentioned it several times. I think this is actually good way, let the story begin more calmly, not jump straight into hussite wars but prepare the ground for it.

Sheppard: Defenestration - what a great idea to be implemented :)

I would dig a game in that setting. Kicking Crusader ass like noone’s business!

Awesome sequel title. I just love the term “defenestration” hahaha

I would love " Kingdom Come: The Prophet" … in reference to John Huss who by th year 1403 was teaching at Charles university.

I would bet:

Part 1: Kingdom Come: Deliverance (act I,II and III) - year 1403
Part 2: Kingdom Come: ? - year 1410
Part 3: Kingdome Come: ? - time of hussite wars

Why:

  1. The year 1403 is in the word “Deliverance”. This means, if we get new words after the "Kingdom come: " (in part 2 and 3) then there will be also a new years.
  2. Im no expert but the signs and heraldic in the battle you can see in trailer are looking like they woul be from poland and the teutonic knights. Seems to be battle of grunwald and therfore 1810.
  3. Husites could be in Part 3, because Dan has a historic book about husites on his desc. You can see it in the trailer. (maybe some czech forum membes could translate the rest of the book titles and post them here …)

The titles were:
Josef Dolejší - Hussites
The skillful huntsman (duh)
Water mills in Bohemia
a book about plate armor (idk how to translate Platnéřství)
Encyclopedy of town towers in bohemia and moravia in ??(propably 15th) century
and the big book on the bottom is Středověk - oděv zbroj zbraně, translated propably as Medieval clothes, armor and weapons

BTW: I think, that in future acts there SHOULD be Battle of Grunwald (where fought also Jan Žižka, badass Hussite commander), as a painting of it was on the background of the Warhorse blog and now a part of it is on this page: http://warhorsestudios.cz/index.php?page=games&lang=en

I think you are right with your BTW

Jan Žižka will be already in “Kingdome come: Deliverance” because he was with Wencelaus in this time. Then he will be in grunwald and last but not least in the hussite wars…

He is also the statue on the grouppicture on this page:

And therefore Jan Žižka is maybe also the guy with the horse on top of the hill in the trailer and the bad guy at the end of the trailer…
