so i start the game up on steam, it goes to a window mode, then fullscreen where it freezes. and the ratio is all messed up. i tried verifying the game cache, same problem.
my specs:
Nvidia GTX 660
AMD FX 4130 Quad Core CPU
8GB RAM
Windows 7
please help, i cant play the new alpha (i used to be able to play the previous versions of alpha)
Try to start it only in the windowed mode and then lower the resolution - maybe that could help 
Never happend to me, so i’m guessing here.
You mentioned that the previous Tech-Alpha had not this problem. Did you update any driver before you updated to Alpha 0.4? Did you try to deinstall the game and delete everything KCD related leftover in the steam folder manually and try to reinstall? Perhaps posting the dxdiag summary could help the dev-team to find some strange problems?
