Info on the first quest of the game

Hello everyone,

I did not see anything about this interview in the forum so far, so for those who missed it, here is an interview (in french) about the tutorial and it appears the first quest of the game will be about collecting debt money in the name of your father and fetch him a cold beer on your way back!

Now that’s promising and much more interesting than running in some dark cave in search of that godlike awesome sword while wearing an armor made of cosmic ore

Enjoy!

Some nice pictures here… no real in-game footage, though.

Actually the request from Rafael in the previous thread for an own village an banner sounds fair. It’s one thing the games often doesn’t show really well… you can befriend some nobles, sit and ride with’em, save their lives (even kings) and it would only be fair to be awarded with some landed title, property and coin (and their daughters as well  ).

So in the end of chapter one, or maybe with the start of chapter two (due to technical reasons or new map location), I’d really appreciate all of this. I’m waiting for it since 2011, after all…

A chance to translate the article to english? Or has OP already told the best part of the article and no other details are given?

I don’t like using Google translate for this.

What the article do, is use the first quest to explain how decision-making has an impact on the story. You have many option to request the money, including brawling with the guy, all of which will have a different impact on your reputation and quest outcome.

In this specific case, they give the example that losing the brawl actually result in the other guy being happy about you for giving a fun manhood fight and he give you the money anyway, and actually losing his key during the fight and giving you the opportunity to steal even more money from him.

Also, and most importantly, choosing in what order to do the quest really matter. In this case, buying the beer before collecting the money means it won’t be cold anymore and you dad will be pissed. Now that’s a sad story in Bohemia!

Greetings guys, I hope you enjoy the pre christmas time. I was travelling to UK, Spain, France and Germany recently so I guess you will see an article in those languages soon. I was showing the first quest of KCD… at least partially in our internal alpha stage (finished game in a very rough state)

If you haven’t found any articles yet. There are a lot of them but maybe try:

UK: http://www.pcgamesn.com/kingdom-come-deliverance/kingdom-come-deliverance-combat

Germany (video of 1st quest): http://www.gamestar.de/videos/kingdom-come-deliverance-video-so-funktioniert-der-speicher-schnaps,91256.html

Spain: http://www.3djuegos.com/juegos/avances/18143/4774/0/kingdom-come-deliverance/

French: http://www.dailymars.net/pgw-kingdom-come-deliverance/

However, if you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask me or @DrFusselpulli

Cheers.

What happened to our characters face?

The face is the face of Henrys actor, but Henry is still not finished yet.

I feel bad for him, considering all the comments about his appearance posted here…

I’ve watche the 40min gameplay video and i must say, the face is something I and other people need to get used to. At the end it didnt bother me anymore.
I think the screenshots posted of new Henry havent been very flatering.
