So I’m curious since I saw a post for the Hammer Quest. Apparently there’s a merchant already in the village. Is this a cheat or is he actually in game? And if so, where?

The blacksmith lost his hammer.
This Quest shows up on day 2 (normally).
Find his lost hammer or bring him a replacement.
But be warned, there are many bugs. 
So what do I have to do in order to make the merchant available?
Nothing. Just go to his stand, he will get up off his bench and then you can interact with him.
He was one of the only npc’s that stays in one location.
He does not sell much, does he? A hammer, some flowers and a brown tunic is all I got. Also Henry doesn’t show up in the character screen. Anyone else get this?
No not much at all. must not forget we are two updates into the alpha expect less content and more testing of core gameplay mechanics.
It is a reported bug, sometimes he flickers sometimes he partially blacked out or isn’t present at all.
I do not mind the limited stock, as the game is already good in Alpha anyways. However, more clothing would be nice (Sorry if that sounds silly, but I enjoy looking at medieval clothing and armor, even if we can’t purchase it in game yet.)
