Is this legal?

I’m certain Steam is still offering their regular refunds and so is Microsoft, as you are proof of it. However, I understand why they wouldn’t be refunding backers.

There are backers trying to get a refund? I mean, it’s Well known that it’s Not granted a Project is working Out.

I saw a backer the other day demanding a non-steam copy as he is paranoid Steam is malware and will steal his data. So I assume there are backers demanding full refunds as well.

Yeah I’ve seen backers asking for refunds but i understand why they ain’t getting one. Can’t back a horse in a horse race and then get a refund when it doesn’t win. It’s a gamble unfortunately. Buying a release game shouldn’t be a gamble though.

 Steam Stealing His Data But Posting in a Forum and having an Kickstarter Account?

Once again, I doubt those that bought it after release are not getting refunds, unless they spent a shit ton of hours playing the game (Refunds should still be handed if the issues and complaints arise late game though)

Well that’s nice, a Thread in how to Use a Game without it’s drm on the official Forums of the game, haven’t Seen that yet

I’ve seen PS4 players being told they can’t get a refund and I’ve seen some steam members not able to either… dunno everyone’s circumstances but there’s more popping up saying they can’t recently.

Like I said, Microsoft sorted me out even with 48hrs on the clock… at that point I was one shotting every enemy and killing 20 cumans without taking damage. I was also losing saves and main quest NPCS were bugging out and breaking the game. I was reloading saves from 5hrs previous in hope it fixed it but then I would Just hit a different game breaker one after another to the point where 10-15hrs playing I didn’t progress at all I just kept reloading and trying to dodge a minefield of game breakers.

is true i always pre order but this is the second time i have seen a game with some many bugs the other one is elex
ps but i dont mind so far i am not playing the history just playing dice making a lot of money

Then you are new to gaming. Especially PC gaming.

I agree with that but I have to say Elex had a lot less bugs for me. Also was a lot cheaper for me. Still… elex was a bad game tho lol.

i have been playing since i had 8 and i have 30 and for me pc is an instrument to work not to play for that is the consoles
(just my humble opinion)

My bad.

But, complex structure of a program is no excuse for releasing an unusable product. If it’s tested properly and extensively, it will have some bugs, possibly also one or two critical. Bugs will always be in programs. It’s like with actual bugs. They will always be bugging people.

This is not about some minor bugs, though. This game has serious issues on some machines. It is completely unplayable for many console users. Was it advertised as “unplayable for some”? No? Then it should be sold playable.

If it’s not working, that means there was not enough system testing or acceptance testing or whatever - quality assurance failed miserably. And not enough testing - that’s the company’s fault, not the customer’s. Customer should never be involved in such things, because that’s not part of the deal: you take my money, I get your product. Product by definition is something finished, having full functionality, unless stated otherwise in an agreement, like in early access or pre-order.

We are long past pre-order, though, aren’t we?

Who’s new to gaming?

Was there even a public testing phase in consoles like PC? Plenty of the PC issues were fixed there.

i like elex it give the sensation that i was playing with shepard of course it does not compare to me 1 and 2

Was meant to reply to the person above me who said he never saw a bigger bugfest before.

No public testing to my knowledge but I wasn’t a backer so I don’t know. Judging purely by the issues it has on consoles I would have to say no because there is no way a group of gamers in early access wouldn’t have flagged some of these huge bugs up.

at the end is common knowledge that if you pre order do not expect a perfect game

It shouldn’t be common knowledge. I don’t preorder a new car and expect it to be undriveable when i pick it up from the show room.
