This isnt possible on steam (technically, unless they have different versions which they have not) and it makes no sense.

So like a few hours??? For me it releases at noon so I can’t install it until I get home god damn it!
Why not drive in your mid-day break home and install it while you’re the afternoon away?

I assume this means waiting for steam to flick the switch for pre-install. They are based in California I believe so in my experience it usually updates\installs some titles from about 6pm UK time

exactly, I have been on Twitch and seeing so many European streamers paying on their xboxX and ps4 pro and Im here sitting with a kick ass computer and can’t do a thing haha.
but these are retail versions
if you got the digital version on console you cant play either

Sorry. But the WH-CMs still telling on Steam: there will be a preload.
And on Twitter the same. Keys: the code now available on the profile IS for the physical disk version. The second key for higher tiers is missing.
Communication-Chaos.
I wish those with physical PC copies could install the DVD contents and have the base version on the hard drive. Steam could still block the game until release, like any other pre-load, but at least that would be that time consuming job out of the way.
