What games do you play until the Alpha?

Going for Space Engineers with some friends and Wasteland 2.

Since I’m more or less in the middle of moving and wont have internet for some days, maybe weeks I’ll try to download the Alpha ASAP

I have been playing The Witcher 2 - Really awesome game btw. And also the first Assassins Creed.

  • Alpha Protocol. Castlevania. Wasteland 2. I am also replaying Dragon Age: Origins.
  • Crusader Kings II
  • Europa Universalis IV
  • Destiny
  • Assassin’s Creed II
  • Mount & Blade: Warband
  • Fallout 3

I cannot contain myself. It’s just hours away. Hype.

fifa 15
Arma 3
pornhub
mordor
company of heroes 2

It seems Warband is quite popular here. A game with tremendous potential. I really wonder how good or bad the next Mount and Blade franchise game will be. (I don’t mean the Brytenwalda author’s game of course.)

Great game , puts you in some hard and sticky situations. Great fun . Highly recommend you give it a go . Just don’t get caught by the parents or you lose all your high scores

@tunak,
IMHO M&B franchise is the best of all.
The quite example that good visual and sound aren’t necessary for a great game, but the gameplay itself!

I own every M&B game and have spent countless hours playing without getting tired of it. Just the setting is awesome - real sandbox mode in a fictional medieval world with great combat system and with NO magic whatsoever. Personally, I don’t like multiplayer games and that’s why M&B is one of my favorites - you can play almost indefinitely in single player compared to most other games where you finish the single player quickly and have to play multiplayer to keep up or don’t play at all. Some of them actually have a replay value, but not anywhere near M&B where you can’t repeat a single playthrough no matter how hard you try because everything generates in real time.

As far as Bannerlord is concerned, I am very, very optimistic about it. Just saw their last video update showing new engine’s capabilities and it was awesome. Hope Taleworlds have enough money and drive to finish what they promised and release Bannerlord rather sooner than later. My suggestion is mid 2016, but who knows? Nonetheless, it will be great game, guaranteed.

So far Brytenwalda’s team have delivered a nice mod to Warband, but a little overestimated IMHO. I’ve never been a huge fan of it because of the time period and setting, which I don’t like very much. The original M&B engine has long reached its maximum capabilities and we can’t expect miracles from it, so I consider this new ‘DLC’ to be a simple marketed - hyped mod, probably a good one.
The Vikings’ setting is a whole new deal and I’m looking forward to playing it. Does anyone knows a release date?

On the other hand, I bought M&B Caribbean from Snowbird (creators of M&B with Fire and Sword) some time ago. Although in an early phase of development, the game shows a lot of promise and it can possibly become the best pirate themed RPG if Snowbird can keep up their promises and ideas. Yet to see, because the release deadline has been postponed several times and the playable version of the game is no more than 50% ready. Still, the developers work hard and produce solid updates every 15 days or so, which make me think that Caribbean will be as good as what they say eventually.
