Wolves & Bears

I’ve been gaming since 1983, and this is by far THE best RPG game I have ever played. However it needs
a couple of things. Wolves and Bears so there’s a risk from the wild that there should be. Wolves were a serious problem in this time, and something everyone was afraid of. They should be in the game, as well as bears.

Also camping supplies, tent/fire/cooking pot and a seat or two. I’d also like to see other knights wandering
the realm rather than just standing around waiting to challenge something. We never see anyone else on horseback and there should be that. I’m also hoping at some point there will be a tournament, hoepfully near
the end of the game.

Best game Ever! However next time - NO AMERICAN ACCENTS. America wasn’t a thing in medieval times, and
a decent director to get good gestures would be good. Henry’s pretty quirky now, so it fits him, but the others not so. Hopefully since this game is such a success, it’ll get that love. Please stay with the english version of english rather than American. This game is so refreshing because it is so NOT American. Love It!

I second this motion to pass!

It would be perfect if they made the wilds truly wild.

Hostile Animals

Wolves and bears were planned and worked on but had to be cut for unclear reasons.

it was originally planned but had to be cut cuz they had to make a combat system specifically for wolf and bears which would have taken more time and money which they didn’t have.

but now they are rich and am pretty sure there next game will be a new era for gaming industry, it will be revolutionary.

and idk exactly but in a video i saw a tournament being held at rattey you know in the castle there is a training area which is not used it was held there.

I agree about bears and wolfs, but boars should also be dangerous to hunt if they attack you. Hunting is fun and a little more risk would make it even funner imo.

Actually if they are going for the heavy realism then they’ve got it pretty much right as far as wolves and bears. By the 1400s or the late mideval period wolves and bears had been hunted almost to extinction throughout Europe. People had been settling the area many hundreds of years at that point and large carnivores were a threat to livestock so they were activly hunted and forced out of the territories. Plus where the gameplay occurs you’re kind of in the middle of a big country with lots of established cities and villages. Most of the forests in game aren’t really part of the true wilds per say. And if you go talk to the hunters they’ll mention poaching and the kings forest and all that stuff. Lots of the woods in the game would have belonged to royalty and in a sense been stocked with specific animals for them to hunt or give/sell that right as favors to others. That’s why if you hunt rabbits or deer or get a boar the meat shows up as stolen. For the time period man (bandits) were the scariest and most likely dangerous animal you’d find. Not to say wolves and bears were all gone just very rare. There are a whole lot of different animals they could include that’s for sure. Or maybe have more dangerous wilds on the borders away from the towns

To be honest I find it better to not have wolves and bears then to have the typical game wolves and bear AI… I don’t see the fun in games, specialy not a realistic game like this, where the wolves and bears are pretty much hunting humans… If they made them rare and proper AI ofc it could be worth it, but im happy they spendt there time on something else then on wolves and bears

You don’t need a special combat set of animations for animals. Just use the default out of combat. Swing weapon
or fire bow. Hope they’ll be added next game.

I´ve found some wolf teeth to buy at the Hunter in Rattay.
So maybe there are hidden wolfpacks in the forests…

it’s weird there are not any wolves considering at night you hear howls roaming around which I instinctively prepare for a out of nowhere attack that never happens.
