Your rig is solid. They just have to optimize it better through updates I hope. Compared to ubisoft, these guys made this game on like 1/10th of the budget so you can’t make comparisons to the ac games. They’ll make it better progressively.

Something is big time wrong… I have an I7 3330, 8GBDDR, gtx1070, and I’m running 1440p with a mix of very high, and high settings at 60 fps. I haven’t had any issues with framerate and barely any bugs or crashes so the game works.

Are you running any other programs at the same time?

Yea certainly agree with that, it’s just confusing that others are having “luck” with their sysytems and can at least play the game… But yea I can see them optimising it in future patches.

Yea this is the stuff I’m talking about… Same generation CPU and GPU, but you’re running the game quite well. I couldn’t even dream of getting performance like that. And no, I’ve even gone as far as a fresh install of windows and fresh drivers, so no major background running software. So confusing! I don’t need amazing performance… Just enough to be able to play the damn game…

Cheers for the replies guys!

That’s crazy… Dunno what to tell you since you already done a fresh install of windows. Are you playing on a SSD?

Yes, as above. I am running the game off an SSD, a freshly formatted one as well.

Oh sorry, didn’t catch that…

What version of windows 10? 64 bit? Have you tried forcing vsync off?

All good, honestly I don’t expect perfect 100+fps on Ultra. I just want the game to be playable, I would even be happy with a locked 30fps on Low at 3440x1440p, but even that isn’t achieveable.

Windows 10 Pro Vers. 1709
64 Bit
Have tried forcing Vsync off, and also the cmd to remove AA.

Yeah my system is worse than yours but it’s pretty stable at 1080p with a few dips here and there. It’s been a hit and miss with this game. Some of us never faced a game breaking bug but others have. It’s just luck

I’m running home…that’s the only difference.

able to play other games fine?

I know it’s early days, and the Devs will look at the optimisation in the future. At this stage I’m more irritated by the fact that I can’t work out whats going on :joy: I’ll keep trying new things and keep people posted with my results. I really just want to be able to play the game. Next step is to place my old 980ti in and see if it makes a difference, and then will be putting back in my i7 3820.

I know how it is. When i first installed i had no sound and it about drove me crazy… I spent hours and hours sitting here trying to figure it out… Only issue i have had.

Yea I’m able to play all my other games fine.

I’m stumped… Dunno what even to recommend trying lol

I had also big fps problems.
I solve it by uninstall graphiccard, turn pc on without card, build card back in and now i play with permanent 60fps

i5 4690k at 4.4ghz
16GB DDR3 1866mhz memory
Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB
Win 10 pro
2tb hd.

I think the game isn’t optimized well. I noticed in game logs it only detects half my available resources, half video memory half ram.

I run at high and get big fps dips in places like Rattay. The texture pop ins and load distance is bad as well.

have you tried some older GPU drivers rather than the latest drivers.

e.g. I am using old 388.31 drivers with my GTX1070 from November 2017
