I don’t care about racial diversity in a game set in the 1400s. If it fits the world, it fits the world. I am simply talking about game mechanics. My concern was for people who get motion sickness in first person. I doesn’t really matter. The game isn’t changing and that is just fine.

He could be, on the other hand, shemale. That is entirely realistic. There are cultures where shemales are common and celebrated.

I entirely agree! And there is that one very famos Czech transracial person in the US nnow, so the issue is well known. That would surely help the sales!!!

She is a national hero, did you know she is one of the founders of black lives matter? I think if she and the transracial community were to get behind this game Warhorse would brake records! But first we need a statement from @warhorse saying there will be an option to be transracial.

BTW, on the street where I live, there is a tiny fishing accessories shop. Apart from fishing rods etc., the owner has about 50 pictures in the window. About 45 are of him with some fish he caught, or him and friends by the water.

Then there are 5 pictures of the owner in what seems as Bangkok in company of what is without any doubt various shemales.

It’s the one with Norway flag. I think that Norwegian shemales in 15 century Bohemia are entirely plausible, just look at the Vikings series.

Great point man ! I think it’s a little racist of us to tell our in game dog, that he is a dog without him having a choice. I think it would be great if our dog could identify as a cat if it wanted too, that would make the cat community feel represented, and add more diveristy to the game!

Which brings me to the devs choosing the dog breed for the game as mentioned in the last video update. Anyone knows more about that particular, now extinct, breed?

KC:Deliverance is meant to be played as a FIRST person game. It was announced everywhere from the very beginning! If you don’t like first person, THEN DON"T PLAY THE GAME!

Period.
As an early backer I am strongly against any third person in Deliverance.

Your argument sounds like “I love fast cars, but I don’t like they suck too much gasoline…”.
Either play it in 1st person or don’t, it is up to you. Deliverance was announced as strictly first person game and you should have made peace with yourself on this matter a very long time ago.

You are very wrong. And unnececarily hostile, so please calm down.

This topic should have been joined with other similar topics (the official poll for example)
Though I failed to reckognize this need and now we have on our hands this disaster.

But putting that aside it is alright to want 3rd person view. Not even devs are against it, but the decision was made.
Still I bet that if the third person wont be added officialy later, it will be added as fan mode.

@plaxeko If you read through the Official poll (linked above), you will learn that if there was 3PV implemented it would work only outside and not in buildings.
I hope that the behaviour of some backers will not keep you from posting your ideas and suggestion in the future again.(Shame on you guys)

This matter was cleared many times before. It is one of the main reasons I backed up KC:Deliverance.
And I won’t just sit by and watch how some people would ruin my dream game eventually.

Sorry again, but this is how it is! If the modders add 3rd person later, it is their own problem. But I among many, many other people are against an official 3rd person in Deliverance and that was proven many times before, even before you joined the forum team.

I believe this ends our current discussion.

Why dont you then just write a comment that explains how things are.

All you did was just say your subjective opinion without any facts, links, nothing.
You just assume that your opinion is more than the one of the others. Why someone cannot fight for 3rdPV just as hard as you fight against it?

Here Vavra explains why it didnt come to making of 3rdPV.
And the reason is “I did not want to piss off 20% of our hardcore customers”. :thumbsup:
There were other minor factors like which you mentioned (the game was presented from the begining as 1stPV)
But the main reason is what you can hear in the video.
