Alpha crashed. Now I can't get in

I was in the game for a couple of minutes and it crashed on me. So i try to start it up again.

But when I’m supposed to “Press enter to continue” and I press “Enter” the pointer disappears for a second but I stay in the same window. Cannot go any further.

I noticed my soundcard had stopped working when the crash occured. So I just restarted my computer and the issue was gone.

I think more information about your system and the ingame settings would be helpful.
