Since this game prides its self on realistic sword combat can I expect to be able to (in the midst of combat) unscrew my pummel and throw it at my enemy, ending him rightly?

The thing is, who ever wrote that manual, must have meant it as a joke. This type of joke in the modern era would be the equivalent joke to using a handgun to hit people, instead of shooting. Anyway it would still be pretty cool to have that feature in the game!!!

Does this “joke” in the manual hasnt the potential to reveal the whole manuscript as satire? There are many other strange things in it, Bud Spencer like moves and stabbing through the closed helmet visor… And then the guy standing in a pit to “handicap” a man when he fights a girl. Sounds like humor to me.
