Medieval Simulator?

I saw a post on twitter (I think but can’t really remember) of a person from E3 that explained the game briefly as a medieval simulator. Does that kind of explain it? I thought of it as more of a “Realistic Game” than a simulator. To me, those are two different things.

IE: Everyone considers the commercial Arma series as a milsim… but its not because the Real Arma that the Military used is an actual milism. But i guess for commercial slang yes you could say Arma is sort of a milsim.

But in MY opinion I consider this more of a game than a simulator. I just think there are better words to explain the game than to say its a simulator. That’s my opinion though.

It’s somewhere in between.

you should take it up with that person. and the term is subjective, it doesn’t matter. a lot of people still think arma 3 is a simulator(lol), so whatever, it doesn’t matter.

Lol i guess i just don’t want this to be tagged as a simulator

you can not prevent it, look: Kingdom Come is a mediaeval simulator… there is no way to stop it, it just happens

Noooo!!! Yea i guess i can’t change or stop anything lol

It is not simulator.

Yea, it trys to be as muc hrealistic as the game can be, but that does not mean it is a simulator.

Take for example the popular topic Horse longsword where there is cearly stated that even though longsword could be and at some cases was used at horseback it wont be possible in the game for the sake of balance.

That is not how making a simulator works.
