If you are playing on console, you do get the bug that makes dirt and blood invisible on clothing. Saying otherwise is just lying and you know it. Even PC players are reporting this bug.
But as I said, playing on a PS4-pro, a normal PS4 or an XoneX no blood or dirt shows visually on Henry’s clothes. The tailors clothes look horrible all the time, and this bugs is on all consoles except maybe yours Kirksty since you are a very special person.
It is not because of mods or any such things. It is because of 1.6 and it effects all consoles and as it seems even PC. The only one on this forum and probably the world that do not have these bugs are Kirksty and he is special.
Kirksty is special. He even wears a special red helmet when he plays.
I believe you, he loves that red helmet. The best part about the red helmet is that it is part tinfoil and it never gets dirty, just like Henry’s armour and clothing!

It’s a common bug mentioned here and elsewhere plenty of times…it will be addressed sooner or later, most likely next patch if it’s something simply they’ve caught onto already, and they will probably not mention much about it as, aside from breaking immersion, it’s not really that bothersome of a bug (dont get me wrong, it’s annoying but it isn’t game breaking or as bad as towns still bugging out entirely; which on xbox one doesn’t seem to be too bad in early game state anyway)
My armor/clothing degrades as far as damage until it’s broken but it doesnt show blood, dirt or wear. Kind of annoying but really just “eh”…I just keep an outfit on my horse at all times and when I go to do dialogue stuff where how I look my affect me I just switch out…even on Hardcore my armor damage doesnt seem to matter, I kill enough bandits and regularly repair what I want anyway.
