There is a lower tier horse named Kelpie at Neuhof which is Ciri’s Horse name.

For my tipe of play, i choose the Tier 1 horse with most capacity. equiped have a 554 kg carrying capacity. speed doesnt important for me using fast travel. but to put all possibl eloot in my trips to sell it its a must have.
I bought him too. He’s best, at least for me, and not just because of name. Speed ain’t everything 
I went for bucephalus from Neuhof
has 20 courage, 270 stamina, ~495 carrying capacity with a noble saddle with 4 saddlebags, and with military horseshoes and gold spurs has a speed of 47 to 50 dependent on load.
IMO I think anything more than 320 stamina with a horse with a speed of >45 and your wasting money on stamina vs other stats, given bucephalus at maximum load with my knight also at maximum load can make it between the most distant apart towns on the map with a short breather normally as you negotiate a tight turn or some such.
still going to Trojan Tier I. 554 carry capacity with saddle
Military horseshoes add a crazy buff. Warhorse Jenda base speed is 41. With a fine saddle w 4 bags, it drops it down to 36. Add military horseshoes (Neuhof) and it’s up to 50.
my buraq from Neuhof mit saddle and 4 bags, military horseshoes, gold spurs , knight latch goes 72 , with shabrack down to 65, and carry 680, stamina is 410, courage 20
The military horseshoes change the horses into medieval Bugattis. Like the travel time but it’s a bit beyond credible.
hi konrad. my trojan had 292 Carry capacity without equipment. 554 with noble 4 saddlebags, al buraq have inicial stats of 252. how is possible to have 680 carry capacity?
Thats interesting, maybe you can answer me that: So it looks like identification with your horse is a point. But is it a problem for you to play as a european guy and have no option to customize henry? Or is it ok, because its a historical setting. Im curious to ask s.o. who plays the game and isnt white himself.

Warhorse Jennda’s stats are glitched. I noticed when i put on her tack and then took it off her speed drops to 20 base, this happens if you take off any item of hers by replacing it. I had wondered why she was so slow after first buying her and she was super fast.
I think literally EVERYTHING in this game is glitched.
this is why i with equipment and other mods to horse base stats were displayed. then we could better manage the tack and also point out to WH when the mods don’t make sense. for example, speed 40 (-4 saddle, +2 horseshoes)
I went with Pegasus, which I believe is the absolute fastest horse. I often don’t even ride with a saddle just for that extra speed.
Warhorse Jenda is the best I think.
