Yep, back to the frustration of replaying certain quests over and over again because they’ve tweaked the combat. Had a bandit looking like a hedgehog with the amount of arrows stuck in him and still standing fighting alongside his 4 mates. Tried to back away, got stuck on some part of the scenery, hit, started to bleed, hit again… dead. Still don’t understand the reluctance to move away from their self-indulgent “one size fits all” mentality.
Yeah played 1.6 on PS4 and combat is really bad. I had to duel a cuman archer for like 5 minutes to kill him, meanwhile he only has a caftan on, but i struggled to get 3 stabs into kill him. Pretty disappointed in the devs for keep changing the combat nonstop. Its like trying to hit a moving target over and over again, worst part of the game in my opinion.
1.6 is soooo fun now the hardcore mod is perfect I just had the coolest fight with runt we fought for like 20 minutes i was countering attacking his counter attacks.
Xbox One v1.6 Hardcore Mode combat is fine. Just got done with Baptism of Fire. Game still has some issues, saw two guards occupying the same space and their different faces phasing in and out and sometimes the details in Rattay need to render but really nothing huge and again, combat is fine.
Fought Runt for seriously what felt like 10-15 minutes, 2h sword v 2h sword. Good master strokes, blocking, clinching, strikes both for me and the AI
There is a glitch with bow where after a few arrows the arrow disappear, all but the head. The aim is still fine but you have to base it off the head of the arrow and Henry’s hand and it kinda throws me off some times
