Still fun tho

There alot more that needs fixing before thinking about stuff like that cant you get your head around it. Two things should be at the top of the list before they start catering to erm how do you say it spitcasualspit. Save on exit and the amount of bug in the game. How do you expect a small team to do this in a reasonable time and do what your complaining about. I mean god damn there has been gameplay of this for 2 -3 years!! Its your own fault for blindly buying a game without knowing what you were buying into. Noone is at fault here but you lmao argue all you want. Plain and simple its your own fault. When a game releases top priority is usually bugs. Not to add completely new features in because you spat your dummy out. There are game breaking bugs and all people care about is that ‘its too hard’ but its been proven how easy things can be if you take the time to practice but your too god damn lazy. You dont have an arguement here. So stop trying

This is going to sound crazy, but I think the AI might be smarter than we’re giving it credit for. I find it odd how no one has pointed out how differently the NPC factions treat each other compared to how they treat the player. Take a look at a certain large raid on a bandit camp early on in the story, right after these 27 kills are racked up. The AI doesn’t seem to have any trouble whatsoever dogpiling each other with abandon. In fact, in my playthrough in the lower camp, one final shielded Cumin ended up backed into a corner of the camp, and every single friendly man at arms rushed in and made a mountain on top of him. This demonstrates that the AI is capable of being as aggressive as we might desire or expect.

I suspect that the weird pauses and confusion we see when we’re outnumbered and alone is some sort of handicap just for the player character. I think it’s a set of scripts where each NPC decides who’s gonna put pressure on the player, then the rest decide to hang back a bit. It never seems to pile on more than 3, maybe 4 guys in melee range in the worst conditions if you sit and tank them all.

I really think that if the AI were unleashed from this mechanic, big fights would be nigh unwinnable without a significant stat and skill advantage. If the buffed quest bandit camps acted like they did at the scripted event, you’d never get anywhere alone. They’d swarm and pummel you to nothing without delay.

So on the one hand, you have this script running constantly that causes AI delays and skittishness, but if it were removed entirely, entire quest lines would have to be rewritten. But, oddly enough, the existing AI has enough at its disposal to pound us to dust if it wanted to, or it was allowed to.

Game is terribly easy after mid game.

Edit: I absolutely love the game though, not because it’s easy now, but because of what it is. lol

That fight had four guys you dip. Also if my stamina was down they would 2 shot me how the fuck did you beat them. i had to be cheap and stand on a log pile firing arrows. It really destroys your experience when you have to use issue in the game world to find cheap ways to win a fight in a game you are paying for its realism!

A simple way to fix combat that would help you guys who think its to easy while at the same time helping us who thinks its to hard would be turn off auto target. When trying to run away and getting swarmed you auto target killing any chance you have of getting away. The hard part is not the fight but disengaging. A. because everybody seems to run faster then you and never run out of stamina. B. Auto target. The targeting system is a must but give me the ability to turn it off with the click of a button . that would make everybody happy on both sides!

I think you are cheating with those screen shots until you show me a video of you doing it i will refuse to believe you did that with your health that high still!
