Finding herbalist for Siege Quest

Hi guys, I’m stuck on part of a siege quest. captain asks me to find a herbalist willing to craft potion that will keep soldiers awake. Thing is I spoke with all herbwomen and they won’t craft it nor give me recepie ( Got corcel recepie already ). I’ve read on this forum someone had luck with herbwoman north of samopesh but they all have exactly same dialoque for me. any advice?

Did you ever figure this one out?

I just got to this part of the Siege quest and I’m at the same crossroads. I made of bunch of Cockerel potions (the one that makes you stay awake) by looking in the book next to the alchemy station, but I didn’t get an update on my quest. I went to the camp where Capt. Bernard is and dropped the potion into 3 pots of food. Still not update.

Not sure what to do next.

I’ve solved this issue by tipping the herbalist north of Ledetchko until she liked me. She then agreed to brew the potions.

The herbwoman you need is the one above Ledetchko, she’s the only one that will make the potions for your sorry ass.

I had the same problem as you and spent 4 hours trying to figure it out. It finally worked for me. I believe that it is not actually a bug but each herbalist has their own reputation with you and will not help you until you reach that. I went to the herbalist north of Ledetchko and asked her to help me and she gave me the same exact two dialogue options as always. Then i read one of the posts here saying you had to tip her. There is no tip option but I figured I could sell her something and then haggle and give her more money than what it is worth. I had previously sold her a bunch of stuff so she had zero groschen. I sold her one chamomile and the dialogue option for the quest went from the usual dark shade to the white shade indicating that something new popped up. I clicked on it and it worked. Hopes this helps anyone. There is a bug though or maybe its due to progressing so far into the story line but the Necromonicon or whatever it is called and the Ab-- something books that are commonly known to be locked in a forbidden books cabinet in the Sasau monastery library are totally not there. The Necromonicon is usually laying down with the other book on its side but they are completely gone.

Figured this out aswell. Apparently i tipped the herbalist woman near Samopesh. Once i get her reputation at 66, she offered to brew the potions for me as long as i did all the legwork of collecting the herbs.
Hope this helps out people!

I’m having an issue where the herbalist won’t talk to me after I gathered all the ingredients. I did nothing but gather the ingredients and when I got back, suddenly the herbalist woman was just labeled as a villager and has no options to talk about the potions. I can still trade with her and confirm that she is the same NPC, but now my reputation with her dropped down from 70 to 46. I tried going to the other herbalists but none of them have any options to talk about the potions either. I’ve spent what must have been 5 hours on this part of the quest for this to happen and it’s not ok.

So no quest dialog options? Have you tried increasing your reputation with her? You could maybe try loading older save and try that again, I didn’t have any problems with that

Thanks for the help, was really confused as to how to move on with the herbalist quest!

Hello. I seem to have similar issue. I have received the recpie, but I cannot give my potions to Bernard. He does not have a dialogue option for it.

I think the only way to solve this quest is to get one of the herbalists to brew it for you. So any potions you’ve brewed yourself don’t count.

My problem is I’m getting no dialogue options at all! Even when I raise my reputation with all three herbalists, I still get nothing.

Do I have to do the “haunted butcher shop” quest for the ledetchko herbalist before the dialogue option appears?

No, that´s not correct. With Version 1.43 you can brew it yourself. You need 61 potions to finish the quest(give it to Bernard).

Check this:

No that´s a side quest. Not needed for story progress/main quest line.

Correct. After talking to a herbalist the quest changed “find another way to get the potions”
