Still strange i would expect that there is some crc files check during installing process and after files should be read only, except some cache…
I have emailed support about this now but im guessing they are up to their wastes in email and cannot solve this right now…
Has anyone here managed to go around this problem or have you all been forced to stop playing the game here?
I’ve also emailed support. I have 143 hours in the game, and am on my 2nd play through. First time I had no problems like this, but now none of my saves work. Very frustating. I can’t see why they can’t get something as simple as file manipulation to work 100% of the time.

To solve this, remove mods and load your save game.
If is working for you great, im using only save mode and when without it, its the same - tested on multiple machines, by multiple people…
