Game stops responding constantly for about 1 minute, then continues

My game stops responding about every 10 minutes, these freezes last about 1 minute each and happen ALWAYS with no noticeable triggers. I’m feeling like this may just be my system since when it happens my entire computer sometimes stops responding and i don’t see any other posts about it. i don’t see any other posts about this. It’s really ruining my game.

here are some of my specs
Windows 10 - 64bit
MSI mobo with an AMD 6300 six core processor
16 gb of ddr3 ram
GeForce GTX 1060 6gb GPU
Direct x12

If there is any more information that can be of useful i can provide it.

Got the same issue i guess. Happens everywhere even in the inventory, freeze for about 1 min, else fps are good. I have got the same cpu but other specs. are different. I got an ssd and win10 today but it did not change anything…

Really Sounds Like a Problem between Game and system. Is it exactly 10 Mins for both of you? Other sinilarities of your systems? Please Post dxdiag also

It isn’t exactly every 10 minutes. Sometimes i can go 30 minutes without a freeze while others i get 5 freezes back to back and they always last around a minute. I seem to freeze more when doing things like riding the horse, maybe because things have to load faster??

What settings are you running at and are you running off a SSD?

I have tried all settings from high to low and even changed the advanced graphics to specific settings. No help

I try to explaine the issues more detailed. My settings are all on medium. The game runs smooth anywhere (30 to 60 fps even in rattay). From time to time (as aarondes said, can be 10 minutes, could be more or less), the game completely stops/freezes, often the sound Loops as well. it Ends after approximately 1 Minute, usually enough time to check the Forum with my mobile. After this the game runs as smooth as before (so i don’t have any fps-drops!)

It happens everywhere/anytime (I think): Riding, walking, fighting, checking the inventory, checking the map, in dialogue (-> when i am moving fast or not moving at all), , forest, cities…

When i am riding too fast i somethimes run into places where only the distant models are fully loaded and everything else suddenly pops in, sometimes People don’t have faces, this could be related.

I read some post about Micro-frezzes and possible solution by using win10 or an ssd. I had to Switch sometime anyway so i installed a clean Win10 on a new ssd, and moved the game to the ssd, but the freezes did not Change (other loading times got better)

I did not really Change up the Settings very much, appart from borderless, windowed, Fullscreen, because as i said the frezzes are very random and the game runs very good between those freezes. I turned view distance down and all the way up (People mentioned better Performance with high Settings, did not Change the issue)

Appart from this I am having a blast with this game, very well written, beautiful and a game to live in :sunny: , but when freezing occurs more often after a Long day at work, i want to Smash Things :unamused:

Sounds like the memory bug from Fallout NV. Any recent memory issues?

@MattP598
I had some issues with pubg with slow loading of models at the start of the game back in early Access days but else no issues with my System at all.

I tried this “heapsize” Setting starting command, but that did not Change anything.

The heapsize setting was the fix for FalloutNV until it was patched I believe. Have you tried lowering your distance and LOD settings?

I would say it’s an optimization issue but it doesn’t look like many people are having the issue. Any other programs running at the same time?

Of Course no other programs running. Yes i turned down the distance/lod Settings…

Could be a CPU bottleneck… I’m just tossing out ideas lol

That’s the min. required cpu compared to yours… http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-2500-vs-AMD-FX-6300/m517vs1555

Also ran this… http://thebottlenecker.com/#calculator and got a 14% bottleneck

You could also try this mod… https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/133

Thanks, but already tested that.

What about this one? https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/27

Nothing worked, but decided to upgrade From fx 6300 to rayzen 1600x and 16gb ram, sooo smooth now

I dont think it is you. My game does the same thing every now and then, right now it’s stuck on the pause screen and i cant get it to un freeze
