Can you not play the version on the disk?
21 GB really ? That doesnāt even make sense Xbox is blu Ray i understand that the pc version might come on multiple DVDs but you couldnāt fit the game on a blu ray ? I have a very poor internet connection it will take forever to download 21 gb.

Because iāve predowloadrd the xbox version and itās 21gb without the patch.
On the PS4 the Update has a Size of 28,7 GB! Yes you can Play it there but only with the Englisch Voiceovers, if you want the German Voices you have to wait till the Update is installed!
You need to connect to the internet to launch the PC version on steam donāt you? I really donāt think you will be able to play it without internet, at least at first.
This Thread is about the Console Version, Xbox One! 
And you can disconnect your XBO from the Internet and Play the Version that is on the Disc, but if you reconnect it, it will ask for the update and you can not play till the update is done, no play and download in the back like it is on PS4.

Iām sorry for muddying the waters by bringing the PC version into the topic. I was just concerned that it seems all platforms (although no word on the PC hard copy) on disk is basically a very unfinished game that needs a huge āerā patch to add content that should be there in the first place. It sets a poor standard to chuck an incomplete version out on disk and then expect people to complete it by having to download vast amounts of data. Sadly not everyone has superfast broadband and it will not be realistic for them to tie up a meagre connection for maybe two days or more to add what should be there in the first place.
I could buy a console version instead of PC but I wonāt be better off, maybe worse, who knows.
PC version is on 4 DVDs so it may be possible that you will not need to download as much. If the console versions are on just one DVD it explains such huge download.
The console version will be on Blu Ray rather than DVD so there would be plenty of space for all the data. It seems the physical version was released to manufacturing too soon; before the game was truly finished. I would rather have had a further delay than get a disk that is pretty much uselessā¦ people buy the physical version for a reason
The game WAS finished however some of glitvhes that came up were fixed, if you plsy thr game without the patch you would still have it
