Female character option wasn’t ever on the table to begin with. KCD’s story is about Henry, son of a blacksmith. However, they designed a quest chain where we will play as the woman who helped Henry at the start. It will implemented in an update/DLC, which would be free for backers.
It was a (reached) stretch goal though
I dont mind If I only get to play Henry but a female character would add some variety in it, so yeah would be nice as a DLC

yes I know that it was just planned a quest chain, sry when it was misunderstood I also dont want a choice between male and female character that would just not fit in the story they try to tell
