KCD 1.7 - PS4 v1.10 initial impressions

Performance
-per notes, immense improvement. It’s not perfect but it is for me at least a considerable improvement: The old save 1.6.3/1.9 runs without stuttering. The flashes at distance much reduced.
-Rattay race - to @DrFusselpulli and PC snobs that suggested that consoles couldn’t handle the rendering. It seems you were wrong. Crow is served. Enjoy. Jenda made it back and forth with only minor rendering issues. None of the noteable popins (whole buildings) occurred at a flat out race. Thank you WH!

Gameplay
-archery- The Cuman 74 bow used to require multiple shots. No more. It’s now a deer gun at a minimum. Cuman also appear to be better shots (finally).
-daily cycle - seems off for some NPCs. Aquarius water carriers are walking around with buckets under starry sky
-tourney - during Seige, Capon doesn’t have tourney related dialog enabled. reported to and acknowledged by Jan

Misc
decals - once in a while there’s a delay in rendering (eg Lords of Leipa crest on guard waffenrock). if there’s a tradeoff between this and environmental (building, etc) popins, i’ll live with this.
Pribyslavitz bakery dryer - tried to bulk dry lepiota but was only able to do one at a time

I noticed the difference in the Monastery.The monks were constantly telling you to watch where you were going no matter how careful you were. Now either collisions are less or the dialogue has been removed but it is much better. I’m hoping it is fixed outside too.

Is the save game bug still going on for ps4 useers I am afraid to play again as I lost 17 hours of gameplay after a save

Can’t speak directly to that (yet). Can only tell you my experience. I haven’t lost saves in 2 playlines. And, I’ve been able to create saves in the 2nd (HC) playline

Great post. I’m all for consoles showing the pc crowd what for.
