Matthew and fritz don’t want to join my village

There is a guy you can take missions from in the refugee camp in Rattay who wants you to steal stuff for him…eventually you find him locked up. It was actually a bug where you couldn’t complete it because he never got let out lol

Apparently it’s been fixed since

Finnally! :+1:

The lack of hanging is because KC:D is trying to be historically accurate. Workforce was a valuable resource in the middle ages, so you wouldn’t want to slaughter your people unless absolutely necessary. (PS: Have you done the executioner quest? There are three whole executions there, if that’s what you’re interested in.)

I mean, I never finished it but I feel like it was a common problem and I feel like I saw somewhere on here a post about it being fixed a couple patches in

I haven’t. But I thought the purpose was to avoid them in the quest.

Dont think so…only where I got the ring for Peshek and where I set him up with a wife.

I understand you don’t want to kiil everyone but still, it’d be cool to see someone hang from decision you’ve made…whether they deserved it or not. Especially in the new DLC where you govern a village.

Might be, unless you wanna see people hang anyway.

Oh, they do die - just not the way the foreign executioner intended. The cutscene is quite funny for something so morbid.

In medieval Bohemia, you would hang for murder. So far, the only one who deserves to be hanged apart from bandits and Cumans is Henry.

Change Henry’s name to Matt Dillon and Pribyslavitz to Dodge City.

I mean, that we know of…Peshek and the other millers have probably dabbled. There are “accidents” all over the place. Who cares if its a villager, bandit or a Cuman…so long as a body is hanging every now and again? I found a dude on the side of the road last night with a dagger stuck in his head, or I found a new dagger I should say…someone should hang for that. Someone should hang for the attack on Neuhoff.

There are a few hangmen around Skalitz, but I guess those are probably suicides.

I would be a nice touch to see a bandit in the stockade and have villagers passing by comment on how “you used to be such a good Christian” or some such…Zbyshek(?) from Skalitz int he prologue winds up working with bandits, it’s not a far cry to assume other villagers took up arms, were captured and put on display as a good example of what happens should you defect
