No there will be no multiplayer,ever.
In my opinion, Multiplayer distracts from the immersion and roleplaying elements of the game. This game is meant to be immersive, such that you feel like you are in a living and changing world. Multiplayer would essentially turn it into an MMO, which is clearly not what the they are going for.
No. Please, read the game description. It is a single player story driven open world RPG.
