With the “racehorse” perk her standard speed is significantly higher than before buying her, that’s because your perks affect your horse rather than yourself and are just applied to them, the stats don’t take those into account.
I use my steed as a loot dump. Speed isnt really an issue.

I bought Warhorse Jennda yesterday and her speed stat was higher than the arabic horse.
I ve chcked it’s speed with no improvements - 34. Not bad at all. 49 with top gear.
But it realy makes ur cloth smells like shit in a few mins. Gladly i use 3 sets of gear anyway=)
Jenda is the best, but Al- Buraq is 2nd, Kanthaka is 3rd. Bucephalus has good weight cap, but it is weak in the speed and stamina departments.
I’ve changed Jenda for Pegasus cause of his speed. Don’t have to loot every single item atm (~80k gold) and it’s speed is the highest in KDC.
No horse has better courage than Bucephalus, though with good gear and perks some other horses can get there too.
fond of al buraq, i have a speed of around 70 with my gear and skillevel (golden spurs, noble bridle/saddle, military shoes etc.) it is a bit lower with armor and caparison and a saddle with 4 bags on it. Allround it is good enough for me

Well apparently (saw it on reddit somewhere) the horses have ahem, a lot of detail. I havent checked wether it is true but you can literally crouch near the horse and check wether it is a he or a she… havent checked it, but yeah… Are you sure?
When you buy Jenda, the seller says he, so yes?
Hm… I really didn´t think of that. But apparently Jenda was named after D. Vavra´s dog. So I think it should really be he. Can´t imagine that they messed it up…
Heck on mine Jenda with best horseshoes and saddle. Speed is 49 and capacity is 521
why so slow? Are you using Calvary shoes amd race horse perk?
With the Pebbles is the best horse mod. I can get Pebbles or Roach to 72 and 575 on PC
