I did not said anything like this. I talked about numbers. And yet, i saw just two andits in video. And you are here making fantasy about armies of mercenaries raiding whole towns, murdering kings and loot all tresures

I just donât understand your kind of debating, itâs like youâre working actively to not have it in the game instead of reflecting over if it is possible or not, which can be seen when you omit valid arguments and only make use of arguments there disputes the possibility of someone raiding a village which isnât a foreign power or nobles. Youâre not working for the sake of realism youâre just working not to loose the discussion.
Ofcourse a few hundred bandits is unrealistic. Why not five to ten stupid people would form a band and die after their first jobs. BTW I am âfantasiedâ about looting the looters if it is the only possible way for Henry to obtain some equipment from east europa
Well itâs not realistic, but it would be great.
They mentioned it being a quest line. Meaning that it maybe/probably wonât end there. And it was never really discovered why horses were being killed rather than stolen.
I say there is more to the quest line, a plot to discover.
Not bad idea, but when there is no loading time, I think it will be just 2 much. But maybe they surprises us all
It would be kind of more realistic if the raiding parties were sent out by the enemy, than just common bandits.

Yes, i would like raids, but also iâm realistic so i donât think it is possible to got everything in this game.
Yeah, that was not a village. It wasnât hardly a raid either. They got in, hamstrung the horses, set the building on fire, and ran. Raids by deserters/bandits on villages usually happened during war time when all the men were away. Also the raid on Henryâs town was done by a semi-organized army. So will there be raids (by raiders) in the game? Itâs possible but I wouldnât think it would be in act 1.
It is very possible to have raids. This is how the Vikings and Mongols started there reign, by simple pillaging and raiding. Historically speaking it is very viable. I think it would be done like Chralex said as in they will have their own behaviors just as towns people have there own.
You are right in that everything we want canât be in this game, but there are some very good arguments for in this thread why itâs both engaging and slightly possible. Iâm actually planning to donate to this game again as soon as the shop is open I will donate every month, I donât know how much yet though, Iâll have to see the shop.

Rivers my friend. Viking longboats were very capable of sailing rivers. Yet no significant raids that I know of take place in Czech republic.
And as you mentioned. 1403 is late medieval times but that doesnât mean there wasnât any left of the old ways. Just very few⊠Mostly for tradingâŠ
Not that significant that you would need it to make an appearance, but itâs a very slight possibility.
Edit: It should be noted however that practice of the old ways at that time have significantly been significantly reduced to almost nothing. Raiding you probably wonât be seeing any vikings participating in. Just trading.

Yep, the vikings were amazingly widespread, but that was three hundred years before the story.
Iâd be surprised to see any Scandinavians at all in act 1.
1066 is the official end of the Viking era.
1066 was more the end of the glory times of vikings. After that time Scandinavia had been named christian territory due to the kings adopting christianity (Except the Norwegian king who had to invade Britain again and die in the attempt).
But just having the country called Christian doesnât mean everyone follows those ways. And there were still Christian vikings, which may sound a bit confusing.
And no, I donât think Vikings would belong very much in this game either.
