If I complete Robber Baron and future saves are corrupted, can I just go back to my last save from before I spoke to Capon to start it and have those future saves be ok? Until I know a definite answer for that I think I might just not turn the quest into Hanush.
Thats what I didā¦ lost about an hour or so, no biggie. At first I could not even complete the mission, tried like 3-5 times or so. Finally I thought 1 more time then screw it. This time everything went alright until when I completed it and mt save corrupted. Only annoying issues I have now is that it seems that I can only get a save in a bed i paid for or own, and I was pretty sure I used to be able to catch a save in any bed where I was not trespassing/not allowed but cant be sure. That and audio with water/streams and the pot at the alchemy station and if I brew a potion and go to brew another one without leaving the station my guy is taller then he used to be(or is higher up anyway) and trying to use the items doesnt work, so i have to leave and re start every new potion. Not sure if those are related, but since I restarted I would assume not but cannot be sure. I play on Xbox One v1.2

My biggest recommendation is to hit up some alchemists/alchemy stations and brew as many Savior Schnapps you can, even if you buy ingredients it should be about 10-12g per potion youāll end up making so its cheap. There is an herbalist and an alchemy station in Rattay and you should be able to buy enough ingredients to brew at least 2 Schnapps a day for. If you dont mind a small spoiler I can tell you of another place where you can buy ingredients and brew potions and there you will be able to buy more; last night I bought enough ingredients to make like 3 or 4 Schnapps for literally probably 30-40g after haggline? Not really sure, dirt cheap though.
Anyway, stock up on Schnapps and before you start a quest, like if you talk to someone and they sound like theyre going to have a quest line, back out and drink a schnapps (if you want to secure a really recent save right before you potentially bug your game). There are enough threads here where you should be able to narrow down which missions youād want to do this before, as doing it every time is not necessary and would be a little tedious/expensive. Cheers for the info mate, I copied my saved folder to a backup just in case. Luckily I personally havenāt experienced any quest related bugs so far but came here to see what different scenarios in the robber baron quest could lead to as the game progressed further and saw the corrupted save bug mentioned by many people so it had me concerned. The only real bug Iāve had is that I sometimes end up standing on top of my horse after a fast travel and Iām stuck there but no big deal as I like to save often.
Also with the reddit link you posted, I had to remove the ā2ā at the end or else it didnāt work.
