I’ve just remembered something: there are no documented attacks of lynxes on humans. So no lynx attacks as that wouldn’t be realistic. Similarly, bears are only dangerous when they feel threatened, but that might be fun for the game: get too close to a bear and bear the consequences, otherwise go in peace in one piece.
Lynx is a big cousin of the bobcat. Have lived near bobcats. They will climb walls and feast on small and sometimes medium sized domesticated animals including dogs. Yes, they are no direct threat to adults but wouldn’t leave small kids around them. My guess is lynx behave similarly. My point about lynx predatory/ambush AI was that if add to KCD I hope they interact with their potential enemy and prey animal NPCs in a non-cartoonish way. And, if Henry were to corner and confront one in a barn (going after farm animals), Henry could take some damage
mods for xbox and ps4 ^^
I agree with almost everything there (and seeing lynxes hunt rabbits would be amazing) except that a lynx wouldn’t attack a human even when cornered in a barn. It would attempt to flee and probably succeed. There was a bit of a story in my area recently with an escaped lynx, and the point that professionals were making was that lynxes just do not attack humans. They’re less like other large felines in that way.
Well in all fairness you don’t exactly want to get the public all excited either lol
Ha! Well, they were making a point against hunting it and putting it down, saying that it will be just fine in the wild and will definitely not hurt anyone since that’s not what lynxes do. But I would love KCD to have wolves.
Take a look at the smaller cousin and what I’m talking about. Bohemia might be paradise but imagine rabies exists there
Okay, but if we take rabies into consideration, Henry would be 100x more likely to be bitten by a rabid dog, so we don’t need to speculate about lynxes.
Mine is DLC that (1) lets us sandbox/free roam after final cutscene. That sandbox including a enemy NPC loaded Pribyslavitz and Vranik that you can attack [alone (at your peril) or with squad of nearby town guards] and (2) gives us a home that we can upgrade (alchemy lab, etc), store and display some of items (from inventory)
Agreed. Just would like more variety. But if we don’t have free roam/sandbox DLC capability after final cut scene… it’s a spicy dish no more
Well, you can sort of sandbox after you finish the game by reloading the epilogue again and just doing whatever you like.
Understand. It’s the closest thing to sandboxing that we have. And, of course it’s better than the alternative, nothing.
In lieu of PS4 mods (which arent in WH’s current plans), having the DLC that allows the user to battle and build would go a very, very long way. I would realistically play KCD and that DLC (as well as others) for years. Without it, much less
Archery is tough in the beginning. With practice you’ll get the hang of point aiming it. Strength is the stat you want too. A bow with a higher draw weight will cause you to sway much more if your strength stat is comparatively low. Try a bow with a lower draw weight and it may be easier.
I know it won’t be possible for 1.4 but I hope in the future there will be a festival in Rattay. While patrolling with Nightingale he said the streets will come alive during the festival. To me it would be pretty neat to have a ton of people walking around the town with things to do. Maybe even a few new mini games during the festival like arm-wrestling, a foot race or something else that was around during that time.
A Farkle tournament that won’t allow custom cheat dices with special prices.
Also seeing Rattay on a market day would be so nice. When you make your city round with Nightingale he says that some should see Rattay on a market day when the whole square is full with trader booths.
edit: sorry I didn’t read your post before posting. I posted the same stuff.
beautiful idea. all day all night fair. Rattay unhinged. no curfew. etc. great chance to play up Czech medieval culture. great distraction to gain pickpocket and lockpicking XP, etc
Dogola, Great minds think alike.
Hopefully they’ll add skeletons
Love the game so far so I’m not asking much:
1- Ability to start a dialogue while on horseback;
2- Primary (2 handed)/secondary weapons equipement slots instead of melee/range;
3- opened visor in dialogue.
