Alert! I found a fix guys!! After hours of testing on my own saves I finally figured out on how to bypass this bug. WARNING before you do this make sure you save just in case something wierd happens. Now on how to fix the bug. First off play the quest all the way to the point of scouting the camp. When you are done scouting the game will tell you to report to Bernard so go on and report to him. Finally when you are done reporting in to him DO NOT lead him to the camp! at this point back out of the conversation and go back to the bandits camp which is towards the left down a long path… Now this part is a tricky little shit you will have to kill the bandits leader. It’s very hard so I advise taking them out with the bow or just the bandit leader. After the battle you have with the bandits go to Bernard and tell him you killed the dude yourself and then go to Hunesh and finish the quest. I highly advise after finishing the quest go save and close your game then load that save up and see if it’s fixed. I love you guys and I’m happy for putting so much work into finding this bug and fix for you guys! Have a great day! <3 This side quest will corrupt your future saves. I did my own testing after getting the “Game load failed” bug. Please upvote this so people don’t complete the quest and that warhorse can patch it!
New info! Hey everyone first off thank you so much for the information and getting this known throughout the kingdom! Now after multiple people telling their stories this bug is in fact on Pc, Xbox, and PS4 as I have read from people’s comments down below. Once again take safe measures and do not complete the quest. Let’s get this bug out of the game

Thought I would clear some questions so you don’t have to ask!
“Is this a side quest or main quest?” Side quest
“Does this corrupt all of the saves?” No only the saves made AFTER completing the quest.
“Which of the three platforms have this bug?” As of right now it very well could be on all three! But through information… Pc and the PS4 are the only ones officially so far marked. Xbox players have rarely gotten it. Still do not COMPLETE this quest just for safe measures.
“When does this quest pop up in the game and should I skip it?” The quest is avaible by talking to Hans after a couple days when you complete the godliness quest… You can pick this quest up for safe keeping so you don’t miss it when they fix it… but keep in mind DO NOT complete the quest.
