Steam key arrived

indeed thats what upsets me. Why back if i can just have a painless experience via steam and that the community manager only answer those threads on steam that are about fun stuff and just avoid the numerous threads that are asking for help with this issue

I just don’t understand why certain backers got actual steam keys (Which they seem to be able to activate without issue) while the rest of us have to jump through hoops with this unprecedented “link your account” method. As a frequent KS backer this is just asking for trouble, and I’ve never seen anything like it before.

Just give us all keys and we can activate it ourselves like what literally every other KS or third party distributor does. Why the song and dance?

I’m sure they’re not avoiding the issue, numerous people have already posted about. But like someone else said it’s 4 am there right now.
The community manager is always easy to reach, but he has to sleep sometime.

Steam forum, and this forum are not run by the same people. The steam community manager is based in the U.S. where at the latest its around 12ish. The manager for this forum lives in the Czech Republic where it’s four am.

no they are commenting atm on steam but only on those “fun” threads

I really think warhorse has done a good job so far but I think you’re right they should at least have someone official here in the forums or somewhere
 all the officials told me was on twitter to contact support who is not in office anymore of course
 I do understand its frustrating

Thats because Rick doesn’t handle these issues directly and doesnt have an answer.

absolutely the sites overloaded with requests, so why not just send your customers/backers the steam codes and be done with it

figured that much out bymself. id just like those guys on steam who are online to say smth like " hey guys we know something is wrong and we will resolve this issue as soon as the programmers are awake"

Well like @McWonderBeast said, they aren’t involved with issues like that. Plus i’d bet 99% of Warhorse staff are asleep right now.

In Steam settings click on “View Account Details” and then click on “View licenses and product key activations”. It should be listed there.

HUZZAH! Still a bit late imho, but delighted to receive it, and can now relax knowing I will be ablbe to play it upon release. Winner.

Also it is NOT in my library yet - as it has not been released I think - But IF YOU CHECK THE STEAM STORE, it tells me it is in my library :slight_smile:
