The Reasons for Decline in Difficulty

to be honest the ultra powerful swords are available wayyyyyyy too early
everyone in this game uses the merchant sword
and it is a balanced sword, but once you get Herod, the duelist or even the mundeburg sword you literally broke the game in two

in order not to be overpower you have to use 3 things:
-the merchant sword
-no full plate gear
-never skill the head knocker perk

Fifavenue said it best, the simplest way to improve the realism of combat is to not use the OP equipment, it makes a huge difference in difficulty of combat even between say the Merchants sword and the Sword of St. George. If you guys really want a challenge just play the interlopers activity each one of those fights was brutal for me even though my strength, defense, and sword were basically maxed out and all other fights were a gimme.

You should be arrested for poaching everytime you pass by a guard.

Maybe not that extreme (if no one knows then they shouldnt search you). However, if you were to try to sell it to market or accidentally try to and the trader gives you dialogue and stops the transaction, they should also report you and THEN the guards should come looking for you and so forth
that would be cool. Later there is a perk that allows a greater chance they’ll buy stolen so if they dont, you get reported; add a 2nd tier perk where they’ll always buy it and boom, you’ve got a decent system

yupp. the standard RPG inventory is the largest culprit in ruining the economy. But the unlimited carrying capacity of Henry the Heavy Heaver is laugheable.

In somewhat realistic terms, you shoulkdnt even be able to carry your suit of armour when in fancy clothes

Armour really doesn’t weigh as much as some people claim, the only issue with it is that you don’t have the space. You could carry the weight of 3 suits of armour easily, but you can’t really stuff them in your pockets.

Yeah, inventory management needs a look at. You should be able to carry maybe a couple of chain hauberks and an extre cuirass or two on your horse but nothing like what we have now.

Example, Call of Juarez, two or one shot and npcs or players are dead!
Challenge is removed from combat or some of the fun of the game is removed as well.? I guess not. I’ve played Call of Juarez more than 20 times and a sword is the same as a gun, not a toy.
But yeah it needs some adjustment to find the correct balance

well, In call of Juarez enemies are not wearing full plate armour that renders impervious to most of your attacks.

And in call of Juarez you single-handedly kill half an army. Kingdom come and call of juarez are two seperate things. Both fun, but seperate.

The only way to fix inventory is by giving items not only weight but also volume.

Lol, when I first went up against Runt, I thought i was going to get my ass kicked. I couldn’t believe it when the screen went black and then I started smashing his head against the floor after one or two swings with my axe.

Lol, I’m tired of all the times I’ve tried to explain to my dear mother that medieval knights weren’t hoisted onto their horses by some type of crane, and could still get up even when they fell off. I still don’t think she believes me.

Show her this. There are other videos of people rock climbing in armour too.
