like thirty minutes, I selected the summarize option on the first post and it only shows topics that have been liked a few times.
you would have gotten a few more if I had actually gone through the whole thread, but that post also would have been like 60 images longer.

edit: nvm! found it, but the israelis held off an invasion of about 5000 t-72 tanks with 50 merkava mbt.

Not with Merkavas, but through intelligence. They were cooking the intelligence for the enemy and basically made them attack where and when they wanted by giving them false information, including false commands.
BTW, Prague is the only place out of Israel where you can see a modern Merkava in an army museum.

bit carried away with that one are you not ? you seem to be forgetting the planes and helicopters , AT positions and ground troops and slightly more than 50 tanks .
assuming you’re talking about Egypt’s attempt to retake the sinai . the Egyptians actually fucked the Israelis up massively at the start of the war . they ended up losing because they made a fatal error . at the start they conducted their operation under a dome of AA cover which made it impossible for the Israelis to use their superior air power but the Egyptians got cocky after their initial success and pushed to far ahead of their AA cover and was left without any at all at which point isreal bombed the complete shit out of the Egyptian tanks and counter attacked with their own ground forces and ended up pushing the Egyptians all the way back to the border .
so what you say is actually false what won them the war was their air power more than anything else in both wars .
