and to the cezchs i hope you also leave the EU and the whole thing is abolished and that we may trade and be friends but allow one and other to be free and install their own values on their own land

On the contrary, I hope we join Euro area soon.

Otherwise I agree with you that the EU needs to take two steps back from where it is now as an institution.

As regards values, I am not sure what you mean, I have not felt erosion of our values due to EU. We even kept our gun right, so far so good here

you (we) are ruled by an unelected president in Brussels where 70% of your laws are made . i would say that is an erosion of our democratic values .

if your measure for freedom is being able to own a firearm then that is sad . you are happy so surrender the basics to be able to own a firearm very sad and very worrying

Just a few hours ago you posted a video which points out to the fact that the “president” has no power.

The laws are made by the EU parliament which is 100% elected and the EU council which consists of representatives of national governments, which are all also elected.

Does it suck that the Czechs have only small voice being only 10 million out of 500? Yes, it does. Does it mean that the process in which the laws are made is not democratic? No, it doesn’t.

And I don’t measure everything by the guns, but I use that as an example because everywhere else (bar UK where the gun control has deeper roots) they are saying “we can’t have guns because of EU”. Guess what, EU has nothing to do with that.

You don’t like immigration? Guess what, half of immigration to UK is from third countries, which is totally unrelated to EU. Don’t like the catholics from Poland or orthodox from Bulgaria? Well, I hope you are enjoying your Islamists enough then.

but the commission is not elected by me and you is it ? neither is the president the fact that your ok with that is scary .

You don’t like immigration?
[/quote] never said that in my life . i dont like uncontrolled immigration . immigration is great allows us to experience other cultures and improve our own WHEN its at a controlled level

the laws are actually made and proposed by the unelected commission the parliament then votes . so a fundamental part of the process is made by unelected officials.

Did you vote for British government or did you vote for British parliament which elected government? Is the British government non-democratical then?

your not serious right ? you clearly dont know how our system works .

each area or “constituency” elect an MP (member of parliament) the party with the most MP’s win and the queen asks the winning party to form a government .
there isnt a single part that isnt democratic . the EU is undemocratic in every sense you have no say in the commission neither do I

Under the British system the Government is required by convention and
for practical reasons to maintain the confidence of the House of
Commons. It requires the support of the House of Commons for the
maintenance of supply (by voting through the government’s budgets) and in order to pass primary legislation. By convention if a government loses the confidence of the House of Commons it must either resign or a General Election
is held. The support of the Lords, while useful to the government in
getting its legislation passed without delay, is not vital. A government
is not required to resign even if it loses the confidence of the Lords
and is defeated in key votes in that House. The House of Commons is thus
the responsible House.

Or do you mean the part where unelected queen appoints the government?

thats the same with any parliament apart from the EU

queen does not appoint the government the prime minster does

Aaand the prime minister gets appointed by whom?

Gentlemen, this is taking too much of my time. I need to concentrate on more important things, so I won’t be able to continue our marvelous discussions.

I bid you farewell. At least for a month. May the force be with you!

the prime minster is appointed from the result of the general election the queen asks the winner to form a government and him/her to head it

@SirWarriant And to wave you goodbye for a couple of weeks, here are pictures of the final tribute of the convoy of liberty in Pilsen today.
