Can’t really tell the difference. I don’t see a problem with the explosion part. Explosions are cool and you know it.

Ill have to go find your comments in the knife attack thread but it will take me a while.

You can’t form your opinions on tourists. Tourists are generally assholes where ever they are from.
There was a fat British man with a pink shirt that said “sex pistol” yelling at my brother one time when he was fishing the national park. He kept “yelling the fish is right there, why can’t you don’t you get it”. ( he obviously didn’t understand fishing).

Ive also had tourists push me in a stream when i was 7 because i was holding the fish bag and they wanted to see the fish to take pictures of the. When i was in the water they literally started taking fish out of our bag and snapping pictures then putting them back in.

Tourists where ever they’re from are complete ass hats

ahh see thats fine and i agree but there is a time where you need to be professional and maintain focus . of course id be lying if i said i hadnt given a little cheer myself when larger than normal airstrikes have gone in .

yes maybe you are right . but even the us soldiers i have met are quite loud compared to us brits who are a tad more reserved  and same with all the other euopean soldiers . all are very reserved and quite . we have a laugh of course but our humour is more dry , dark one liners

I still don’t see how cheering “removes” focus. Each one of those explosions probably makes their job a little easier and makes their chances of survival greater.

Italians nuff said

Does that make them lesser soliders? Ive never been on a battlefield but i would assume you would want your voice to carry over the sound of gun fire and explosions…

And remember most Americans are Europeans !

because if you are all cheering then your focus is on the explosion and not on your surrounding area . short lapses in concentration can sometimes give the enemy enough time to reposition and shoot your mate .

mistakes cost lives . so no need to increase their chances by being unprofessional.
ahh you have mistaken me . i dont mean we cant be loud when we need to be but american humour from what ive observed is quite in your face and slapstick . what we here would describe and cringe worthy

can tell i was an officer XD

Still don’t see how thats unprofessional. You can still focus and cheer at the same time.

If you’ve served with someone from New York or New Jersey then you’ve pretty much served with an Italian. New Yorkers are the worst tourists. They’re loud obnoxious and their brat kids hurl rocks into the water scaring the fish.

AND THEY’RE fucking obsessed with seeing fish.

Not sure what you mean by slap stick humor. Keep in mind there are 50 U.S states (the same number of European countires) and every state ive been in is very different than my own.

Yeah you seem to fit the stick up your ass type stereo type for officers

no you cant . how can you focus on the battlefield if your attention is on a single explosion .
haha maybe your right :stuck_out_tongue: you have to be im afriad . the moment you relax is the moment you start losing men . but yes my standards are very high and i dont take kindly to fuck ups

Well from what i gathered from that video is the enemy was in the location of the explosions so yes i would assume it would be possible to focus.

What about fuck downs :sunglasses:

how do you know that ? the taliban are very good at moving from firing position to firing position . sometimes its mind boggling how they will go from one compound to another is next to no time .

What about fuck downs
dont mind them

I noticed everyone in that entire group looking in the direction of the explosions so weather or not the other troops were cheering they were clearly distracted by the explosions.

Fuck downs are the worst.

i cant comment to much on that particular situation as a whole as i cant seen the soldiers outside of the frame but when your on a roof your quite exposed so you need 360 degree vision at all times

Okay then. All the soliders were at fault then not just the U.S ones

the two brits seemed pretty switched on the rest were all marines

? They were looking at the explosions too. You honestly seem like you have some kind of vendetta against U.S troops.

not at all i quite enjoy working with americans they bring alot of toys to the battle that we cant  but i just find them a tad loud and times where if they were my men i wouldnt have it .

was calling out corrections to the bloke on the mortar :stuck_out_tongue: he had business looking that way.
of course there are times where its excusable like a 2000 pound multiple airstrike coming in but a mortar landing shouldnt be that amazing

I still think you’re making a big deal over a little cheering. No one was hurt or killed except the enemy possibly. So im willing to bet they did something right.

Do you want them to wisper? Theres kinda of gun fire and explosions going off…

this time . what about the next time when your best mate gets his head blown off because you stopped watching a direction and a enemy fighter appears and shoots your best mate .
bet you would find it hard living with yourself after that .

its life and death stuff , if you fuck up people will die
