It would have come down to small pockets of resistance harassing the British over and over. I watched a scienero on what would happen if Washington was captured and hung. IT would have inspired an even larger rebellion.

The problem with police training is they’re trained to see all civilians as a potential threat to their life. But honestly the amount of cops getting shot by black teenagers lately it doesn’t surprise me these cops didn’t fuck around. There is a police brutality problem but 90% of it reported is nothing but race baiting.

I’m sad i missed out on a chance to own a mosin. The prices have gotten much higher than they used to be.

And you’re saying a Jewish resistance wouldn’t have help from the allies LOL. Read above about the jews that fought the nazis while keeping over 1000 other jews hidden in the woods. They got support from the Soviets. So i would imagine if a bunch of Jewish guerrillas popped up they would have gotten support from the allies.

my initial reaction is its a stupid idea but thinking about it i suppose the natives used them quite effectively against muskets . would of been interesting for sure .

[/quote] with what ammunition though yes that would of worked for a while but a loss of 90% of their ammo supply ? wouldnt of been long before they ran out .

all well and good saying steal the british gear but what happens when you have to retreat in a firefight and dont get resupplied ? not going to last long are you ?

[/quote] i actually said back a number of comments that in this case they would be very useful . but lets remember the jewish resistance would be spread out the allies would only be able to support well the ones either in the country side or on the front line .

an uprising in berlin in 1942 wouldnt of got far would it ?

so in some case i completely agree armed civilians can be a great help but this idea of simply poping up everywhere at once and taking down hitler is fantasy .

ive watched the film your talking about (yes based on real events ) one of my favourite films in fact .
but if you remember what was their biggest issue ? the group becoming to large .
not enough guns , becomes harder to feed .
logistics .

lets also remember alot of the jews were simply in denial about what was happening and just hoped it would all work out for them . so this idea that every jew with a gun would fight is false many would of fancied their chances under german capture more because they were unaware of their fate and were hoping it would all just be fine

Sadly its not just the U.S. the Prussian education system instituted in all first world countries is killing the natural intelligence in people.

Pink Floyd said it best “we don’t need no education…we don’t need no thought control…”

Many in the “civilized” western world are emotionally underdeveloped and incapable of solving basic solutions without being fed a formula or base information or explanation.

You’re going to have to elaborate on this further I agree thus far but I’m interested in your view in more detail :slight_smile:
Some examples maybe :slight_smile: .

If I’m following correctly one example I can think of is the younger generations now all seem to just believe what their parents tell them as gospel without ever examining their parents point of view and finding fault in it .

And I feel with that system and cycle of life we are destined to just making the same mistakes over and over again and never evolving as a species as we simply are not questioning our understanding and logic enough and pushing the boundaries of what is "possible " because when our parents say something is "impossible " we just believe them .

This is also why I feel so many poor children are unsuccessful and so many rich children are successful because their view on what is possible is hugely different

I will elaborate further and gather some resources too, but it its currently 80-95 degrees Fahrenheit and im over heated and not thinking at peek performance.

Its a subject that’s rather important to me. Growing up I have always been addicted to learning and understanding how everything functions, and school was one of the worst things for my development.

This has progressively gotten worse over time and now there is this mass illusion that somewhere someone has all the answers and they are the ones in charge and therefore must not be questioned.

Parents thinking that government or religious institutions are this pervasive force of control and structure, falsely teach this mentality to their children who in turn believe in the illusion of “Adults” being that pervasive force of control.

You can see this allot with how much parents rely on the schools to educate their children about everything. Things like logical reasoning, emotionally well being, sexual health, and many other subjects cannot be tuaght but rather learned from example I.E. monkey see monkey do.

I think what @TheDivineInfidel is saying here is that people have “Ghetto mentality”.

I come from less so therefore I am less and cannot do it because of what my background is.

Its not an easy mentality to shake when you come from a poor culture. ( I grew up this way, raised in a Trailer home park)

I don’t know who said it first but its lovely quote that sadly many don’t identify with.

To be fair in the Czech Republic you can own gun after you are 15 and legally drink beer after 18 and have a beer legally sold to you after 18.

But yeah, here everyone drinks and smokes weed by 15, so I guess 18 is a moot point.
