When I had a motorcycle accident back in 2004, the doctor treating me was Slovak and nurse Ukrainian. So I’d say we definitely don’t have any surplus of medical workers here.
sadly for your country . our paramedics are likely paid alot more when you convert the currencies . so many will come here .

I don’t think so. The UK health system has horrific reputation in the Czech Republic, and that especially among professionals. Every health professional that wants to leave the country for higher salary is already either in US or in Germany.
I remember when UK’s work restrictions on 2004 EU member states ended and all the British newspapers were crying out loud that hundreds of thousands of Czechs will come and take your jobs… and nobody showed up.
