We don’t have too many ragheads here but most of the small shops are run by Vietnamese immigrants. Most shoplifters tend to be gypsies. So what we get is quite a lot of similar Vietnamese on gypsy encounters.
Just that it is usually gypsy getting smacked, coming back with a whole group, and then machettes come into play. It is far from being on daily order but considering that neither of the two groups is likely to call cops I’d guess it is much more common than generally known (also judging from some Czech Vietnamese internet forums).
But yeah, the guy in the video was clearly in some way disabled. I’d say three slaps would be enough, this many would most probably make me intervene (physically if unarmed, by calling cops if armed in order to avoid direct confrontation).

The thing that really pisses me off is that this is quite possible the first German leader in 600 years that speaks Czech but our governments just can’t do anything meaningful to strengthen Czech-German relations.
I actually started hoping somewhere at around 6th slap that the raghead will keep the bag.
I don’t know much about British laws, but keeping the bag would be considered grand theft at that point in my country with 2-10 years (and immediate expulsion afterwards if he doesn’t have citizenship), while the shoplifter petty misdemeanor would carry fine up to €200. 3 years imprisonment would make it a very nice example for other “hard working tax paying” shop vigilantes.
