@McWonderBeast i did some research on your claim and you are partially correct. The confederate flag mostly widely recognized today was not the main flag of the Confederacy. It was how ever the flag of Robert E Lee and several other Virginia regiments.
This makes their claims that the flag supports racism even more ridiculous since Robert E Lee was quite opposed to slavery and didn’t mind that it was coming to an end. He did inherit slaves from his fathers death but he never got involved with the plantation business due to his military career.
So it seems the blame for this mass shooting is falling on guns, Robert E Lee, and the confederate flag. But none of the blame is on the fucked up kid who did it.
