He just can’t grasp the idea. In his country, people can’t carry even a pepper spray for self defense. Mere illegal ownership of a gun can get you LIFE IN PRISON. For Brits, the idea of self defense is something alien. They worship a queen and believe she will provide police protection in their moment of need.
