Does the U.K have laws against this kind of thing. In America the constitution would make doing something like this highly illegal and the victim would have full backing of the if he/she tried to prosecute the cops. Im not sure if the U.K has a constitution but if doing things like that is legal that that constitution must be deeply flawed. U.S presidents in the past have been impeached from office for simply wire taping a room but since poor Obama is black they wont do anything about him spying on millions of Americans.

Thats exactly the excuse that allows governments to strip our freedoms from us. We are doing this to protect you. We are taking your guns from you to protect you. The NSA is spying on you to protect you. There police force now has tanks to protect you. Do you see how that kind of excuse is dangerous? When ever governments strip freedoms from the people its always to protect them.

Excellent video completely true. In America they aren’t as much as a problem like you guys might have in Europe most of them live in Michigan. Not to mention having the majority of the population armed they could never get away with half the things they have done in Europe. The only real attack they’ve ever done against us is 9/11 ( i think the government did it anyway) but that could have easily been avoided had there been sky marshals aboard the planes (which they have now a days) with a gun.

the UK doesnt have a constitution no ,
this particular woman was paid compensation i believe . its not illegal in either of our countries it falls in undercover policing which is rather unregulated.

these things do protect us from attacks etc , their is a war going on with terrorists , who started it is up for debate however to deny it exists would be stupid . during these time the intelligence agencies have to do things generally they wouldnt in oeace time due to budgets etc , the NSA isnt spying on YOU . they are keeping data bases of intelligence on each person and if hey ever had to investigate you they could just pull up all your records . they dont need to spy on you any way for most people a simple facebook search gives everything away
i dont have an issue with this i feel no less free .

there not attempting to take your guns away at all they want there to be control over them its very different , right now you can buy guns like chocolate bars . but thats a different debate .
here in the UK its alot different to the US for the simple fact that the government doesnt have the power to strip my freedoms only the queen does and she wouldnt

Its not illegal for undercover policing in America either but the constitution prohibits things like a cop marrying a women just to spy on her. Sure cops don’t always obey the constitution but if a citizen wants to prosecute they have the constitution to back them up.

The NSA pulling up our records and collection data on ordinary Americans without a warrant is highly illegal and violates the constitution. Its a very slippery slope like i states above. The justice system is innocent until proven guilty not guilty until proven innocent.

Wrong there are many Politicians that want our guns completely banned in this country. The senator in California that wants to ban assault weapons has said many times if she could get away with it she would take all over our guns. I also find it funny that during the nation wide assault weapon ban during the Clinton administration the north Hollywood shoot out happened. 2 men armed with fully automatic ak47s which they bought during the ban through the black market attempted to rob a bank with full body armor on. They killed several people and wounded dozens more. Another being the columbine shooting which took place in my state and was the fault of the police not acting on a threat they had received nearly a year before the shooting. That’s 2 mass shootings under a administration that favored strict gun control. Then lets take George Bush who ended up repealing the gun law had 1 shooting under his administration. Then fast forward to present day. We have 2 shootings at fort hood, the sandy hook massacre (if you believe it wasn’t fake) the aurora shooting and countless other smaller ones. Hmmm the administrations that pass gun laws always see more shootings than the ones who don’t. If America had strict gun laws much like your country our government would have nothing stopping them from pulling more bullshit than they already pull. Guns are about as easy to get as alcohol in America. Roughly 10,000 people die in drunk driving incidents each year in this country and when you get behind the wheel of a car drunk and kill someone innocent family you are a murderer. Only 8,000 people die each year of gun homicides 80% are gang related. When they ban alcohol ill gladly support a nation wide gun ban. You also don’t take into consideration that states have different gun laws. Its pretty much impossible to get guns in Illinois yet they have a murder rate nearly 10 times the murder rate of my state where guns are easy to obtain.

on any convictions etc etc its not illegal . to access your phone calls they require a warrant but to record them they dont which is the loop hole thats been used .

this argument that without your guns your all going to be inslaved is stupid , i dont own guns and most people in europe dont but i still enjoy freedom and in some areas more freedom than you do

But Obama has done this who shit show with the NSA and he remains in office. Obama has used the IRS to viscously go after people who openly criticize him on many occasions. Bottom line is its unconstitutional.

Well by freedom getting murdered by Muslims like in France because you aren’t allowed to carry a weapon. But i suppose death could be considered freedom by some people. I’m not saying owning a gun makes you free but it gives you the ability to defend your freedoms and rights if you have to. This has been shown many times through out history. America would not be a country without our guns. Another fun fact there were several Indian massacres that started because the U.S Calvary went to take the natives fire arms so they would be defenceless and easier to control. My government has done this before and to say that them taking our guns is not a threat is very foolish to say.

what keeps the world safe are clandestine operations specialists hunting down terrorist cells, crippling their infrastructures, arresting or killing them.

but to get to these FINAL stages of an operation requires months sometimes years of slowly building intelligence cells such as undercover surveillance officers.
whatever the issue the surveillance officer is investigating he /she is expected to remain completely covert , while its not common practice sleeping with the suspect is sometimes the only way or best way to proceed with the investigation .

[/quote] it was actually Bush that came up , introduced and authorised the operation to record every phone call made within the US after 9/11 obama has mealy followed through with the plans that were in place

massacres such as that happen in the US monthly . the fact that you CAN carry a gun doesnt mean the average joe in the street does . do you or your family carry weapons in your day to day life ?

attacks such as these are extremely rare in Europe however france is very blazaire with its defence to terror attacks the likely hood of an attack such as this happening in the UK is much lower and if it did our reaction would be much swifter .
Also a hell lot more professional as the storming of the supermarket by the french police/ commando’s was god damn awful :stuck_out_tongue: the French are lucky the terrorists just ran out to die if they had organised the death toll of the police would be high

Well as i told you i believe Bush was responsible for some pretty horrible things. But the fact the Obama continued the practice and was never impeached for it is an outrage.

Monthly that’s a huge over exaggeration. Its also funny that they always happen in gun free zones with strict gun control. I also find it funny that there has been more mass shootings under Obama then any other president ironically hes one of the most anti gun presidents we’ve ever had. No but mass killings are quite common in Europe if you take the German and Russian holocaust into example. Hitler was a fan of disarming Jewish people but was fine with “pure” Germans owning them. I also find it amusing that mass shootings still happen in Europe when you have tight gun control in a lot of country’s. There used to be Rifle teams attached to schools in America and do you ever hear of a school shooting prior to 1990? Sure the U.K might not have huge ass massacres but that doesn’t stop Muslims from attacking people.

You have to be 21 to own a pistol where i live and 21 to conceal carry as well. I’m only 20 so ill have to wait a year. Most of my family has to do things every day that makes things impossible i cant hardly bring a gun to school and neither can my siblings. My mothers a teacher so she cant hardly bring a gun to school. But when i turn 21 i will be getting a pistol and concealed carry license. I live in a fairly gun friendly state with low crime (except the places illegals flock to) but its not usually to see someone packing a pistol or have a gun hanging up in their car. My state also has a lot of hunters i live pretty much on the foot hills of the rocky mountains so again many people in my state are armed yet we have low crime and murder.

Obama is a very power hungry president with over 900 executive orders. He knew about the NSA and all that other crap. I’m not saying hes the only corrupt politician but he abuses his power many times. Hes also a butt hurt little bitch when congress doesn’t like his bills he just does an executive order. Hes a complete and total jackass giving amnesty to over 14 million illegals because they always vote democrat. I just cant understand why Europeans actually like him.

There were plenty of armed resistances that saved many lives. I don’t think there was actually one in Germany but i could be wrong.

Sure they do but Islamic terror attacks are much rarer in the United States than they are in European country’s. Recently some guy cut a women’s head off in Oklahoma for not converting to Islam but that’s about it other than 9/11 of course.

I’m not saying its all Obama fault there were two huge shootings under the Clinton administration during his nation wide assault weapons ban and the Virginia tech one happened under George bush. But Sandy hook there have been an obscene amount of shootings under Obama and its funny it always happens with an ar15 the weapon they are pushing so hard to ban. Even though more people are killed by hammers than the ar15 each year.
Its also funny that the shootings happen in very liberal areas where guns are heavily restricted if not banned. Seems like gun control worked for them.

I do. Not every day, but often enough.

Only France since last December:

  • December 20 : Nantes
  • December 21 : Tours
  • December 23 : Dijon
  • the Charlie Hebdo and Jewish supermarket last week.

Prior to that (only those with most media cover, there were many more):

  • 2012 Toulouse and Montauban shootings
  • 2013 La Defense Attack
  • 2014 Jewish Museum of Belgium shooting (by French national)

Some of them might be done with knives or cars driven into crowds, and most casualties are actually Jewish (which I personally think is the main reason the public was not so alarmed as in Charlie Hebdo case), but they were terrorist attacks never the less.

you’re one of the journalist in the Charlie Hebdo office last week when they storm in , bearing in mind they were wearing body armour and carried AK47’s how prepared would you be . honestly . to use your firearm in that situation .
now before you answer think about it dont just try and sound like a hero generally put yourself there and then answer

ok yes a fair amount of low death case but not a lot of huge attacks because the intelligence agency’s a pretty spot on with there jobs .
france is quite a soft target as they dont take it as seriously (until now with the 10,000 troop deployment ) there security against attacks , if the same was attempted in london , Washington etc the police and special forces would deal with it alot quicker and execute the operation alot more professionally than the rabble we witnessed storming the supermarket .
anyone with much knowledge of clearing a building was covering their eyes during that bundle of shit :stuck_out_tongue: but hey i suppose they got the job done …just about
