Let me take a wild guess on this discrepancy----the older game that still works is a 1.3.4 save? Because it’s really going to suck if these are all 1.4.0 saves.
BTW: Did you update your Unlimited Saves mod since the 1.4.1 hotfix release?

Same exact bug for me, this on a new playline started with 1.4.1
the game was beta before 1.4.1… after the 1.4.1 it’a an alpha.

Hello everyone!
First of all, i want to apologize for my english. Like all of you I also had this bug. I solved it by loading a game before the second date (the fight in the tavern). The steps i followed were:
- Load a previous game (before second date).
- Talk to Theresa and go to the tavern. Fight and come back home.
- After finishing second date you need to wait/sleep 2-3 days in-game.
- Then talk to Theresa, make sure you do it in the morning (I did it at 09:00 AM).
- She will accept directly without needing to wait for another moment.
I think the bug happens when you talk to her at the wrong time and she tells you to come back another day. This is the way I solved the problem, I hope it will help you.
With 1.4.2 out now, can anyone confirm this is fixed? I can’t get to the game for hours yet

With patch 1.4.2 gift mechanic still bugged, teresa acts like she received the jewel but when I selected the jewel the counter didn’t drop.
Overall the Romance quest is still bugged after the first date when the “now then” dialogue repeats after taking to the mill Teresa, and after the dialogue the game simply stucks in a loading screen and Teresa mumbling something about a next date.
This is another issue, I was stuck with the last stage of the quest.
Didnt pay attention about the gift, I will try too.
Quick question. How many times does it allow us to bank the skank? I went through the run, The tavern dance and fight… and then breaking the hips. That was the end of it for me, Is there more? Just curious, I would rather lay the pipe to some of the wrenches in other towns that is more pleasant to the eye and less hideous looking.

now I restarted and I found out I’m retarded. The Race is bugged. come back first and got told good horse but you are a looser. But I’m first…stupid buggy game. At least now I got my answer why I should go for crowd founding projects.
And damn…I still love the detail of the game…even I hate the detail of added bugs with every patch.

last date has to be either exact next morning as soon as the message pops up between 9 and 12. or if you missed that point, unmark the quest in questlog and you can go later to her the option will be there
you get 2 swing and a hit,That’s it. Then ignored like a used con_m
I have infinite loading screen after a dialog when going with her along the river.
I want to confirm that this bug is still in the game, I am playing a fresh game started on version 1.4.3. This part of the quest ends up with infinite loading screen after a repeated dialogue, it was fine in 1.3.x
Hello, I was able to play classic playthrough on the retail version of PS4. I got to this point to specifically test this, but I am not able to reproduce the infinite loading in any way. Does anybody have more information about this? Because I am out of ideas what could be causing this.

For me (PC version) it depended on the answer in the dialog. First I selected a “wrong” answer that didn’t success the Theresa scene and then I had a second chance and selected the “right” answer. This caused the infinite loading screen. I loaded the save game again, started the quest again, selected the “right” answer directly and didn’t have the loading screen anymore. Maybe this was just random, didn’t tested it a third time.
