Not from what Iāve seen on streams. But you can kill chickens.

@trakko Iāve met him either near the inn/shooting range, or sitting on the side of a road. If I remember correctly he has colored clothes.
I can confirm that they donāt react to being shot. They fall to the ground on impact, they get back up and get back to their activity.
Did found out about the problem with the blacksmith in the end after several attempts. When not able to talk with the smith.
Talk with the farmer, but had to go for the 3rd option alone to trigger the smith. Asking about the village etc. seems to bug it.
This might help others, if in the same position.

I finally got the bow but i used all my arrows at the target which was surprisingly hard to hit. Does anyone know if you can get your old arrows back or get new ones?

I wasnāt expecting ārealā quests that weād find in the final game. I very much doubt the whole blacksmith flute thing will survive to the final game.
Itās a cheesy quest to test the questing system. Does it make sense to steal it from the Blacksmith and return it? Not at all. A good way to test multiple possible outcomes to a quest? Absolutely.
View it in that light, and donāt worry too much about āoddā quests this early.

Practice makes perfect. Also, you need to ābuyā more by betting. 10 at a time.

If you want to keep shooting normally, just keep betting at a minimum of ten. Unless you mean the ones he gives you permanently? I donāt wanna spoil the game but-
SPOILER ALERT
-when you score a 28 (maybe 29) or higher, the bowmaster is so impressed he gives you a bow (and 30 arrows) to keep. Of course I used them to test the ragdoll physics (itās pretty good for an Alpha) and hone my long range skills but Iām not sure how to get more after your 30 is used up. Maybe ask him for some more?
EDIT: Found it. Save 10-15 arrows then go to the targets. Stand on the line (where you normally go to shoot) and hit a 28+ with your remaining arrows (which is why you need at least 10), Go to the bowmaster once youāre done and heāll hook you up with some more. Not sure if itās a glitch but it works like a charm.

This method does work well, I used it to get a much larger number of arrows for my hunting, thoughā¦Simply drop the arrows you wont be using in your bets, as long as you make the minimum amount youāre golden

Hahaha I broke the blacksmiths flute quest chain by taking the flute really early in the day. The blacksmith justā¦ Stopped existing. He was nowhere to be found.
nothig exciting, but in the forest you can find a dead rabbit, maybe it should be a trap
