Tired of crashing on Xbox one X!

You have to put about 20 hours in before it gets bad. Which is a shame because the story gets really good by then.

When I reinstalled my Xbox X and KCD the version I got when I installed was 1.2.5 (only online media). Not 1.0 upgrade to 1.2 then 1.2.5.

I deleted the game last night. I’ll come back to it when everything calms down. I really like the game and want to continue liking it, but think WH are overwhelmed with issues and just fire fighting at the moment.

Common, crashes on PC are even better than on Xbox - #PCMasterCrashRace

What do you mean it’s gone? I still crash all the time opening my map and menus on the X…

Is the patch released for Xbox??? If it is that’s great!

Buy a PC. Worries are over

yea because this runs as smooth as butter on pc :laughing::laughing:

Since 1.3 on Xbox one X I’m no longer having the annoying crashes to the dashboard. Also my fan is quiet now!! Wohoo!

Same here! I am a little curious why the fans were running so hard before and now it’s much more calm. What happened?

I think it’s related to lot of bugs they didn’t optimizing yet, so the GPU & fan work harder before . They fixing a few bugs in this new patch and now the fan more quite. I’m on X too.

My uneducated guess is that they in the 1.2 patch disabled some native GPU function, making the CPU doing all the work instead. In the 1.0 the graphics was way better and no fan issues. On my Xbox One X the 1.0 ran pretty nice but was full of other bugs.

Before this new patch, i’m playing with day one patch (version 1.0.0.108 on dashboard / version 1.1 in game menu).

With patch version 1.1, my fan noise screaming randomly like a jet. And today i’ve just downloaded the new patch and the fan is silent.

So is it safe for me to repurchase KCD for my XB1X?

I’m can’t guarantee you Sir. But with the new patch there is a little bit improvement from the previous patch (in my case, version 1.1 to 1.3)

No crashed when selecting a quest log, no crashed when fast travelling, my xbox one x fan is silent now.

I don’t know about quest or sidequest that still has a bug, but in my case with version 1.1 i didn’t encounter any gamebreaking bugs or corrupted save data and i’ve just donwloaded this new patch today.

Is 1.3 the one that also addresses lockpicking and save quit?

Yes, there is save and quit selection and lockpicking mechanism now have a guidance.

In my lockpicking that i’ve experienced before and after the patch is when before the new patch i can easily lockpicking very hard chest without failed (lvl 20 lockpicking skill)

But in this new patch, i’ve tried to open a very hard chest and i’ve failed a few times. This time you should be more slowly moving the gear or otherwise it will failed.

Ok thanks. I think i’m going to wait another month or so. I really want to play this game but my initial experience was so bad that i had to get a refund so i’m feeling very cautious about devoting more time and money to it until it’s going to be smooth sailing for the most part.

No wait longer. FPS rate is stable i don’t have any crashes but the pop in and lod is still so bad that i can’t play the game. Probably the worst looking game on xbox together with pubg
