And given how the Media is pretty much encouraging people to attempt to assassinate him, i’d say it’s an even bigger threat than most think.
Well that would be interesting. If in EU, with Scotland getting mostly white catholic European immigration and, outside EU, England and Wales continuing to get mostly brown/black muslim immigration, I think we would see quite an interesting island there in 2050.
A university trained surgeon from India or a biscuit factory worker from the Czech Republic…hmmmm tough choice
You really think it will take that long? Ethic Brits aren’t even a majority in Londonstan anymore. Same thing is kinda happening in the U.S, but with Hispanics, although they are still technically white somewhat. White birth rates globally are just really low, I’m sure they’ll go back up eventually.
Considering how much you assholes love biscuits, i think this would be an easy choice.
Are native British surgeons really so bad that the best option is to import foreign surgeons from a country with designated shitting streets?
BTW judging from the University dormitory that I used to live in during school days, all the good doctors from Asia seem to be educated in the Czech Republic anyway
not quite , more like our population is growing to fast for home grown talent to fill the gap .
basically a non-story . (the posted article )
doesnt bother me where they are educated if they can do the job we will have them , most European labour coming here is low skilled is my main point. where as the ones coming from the far east are generally rich and highly educated because if your low skilled out there you live in a shack and couldnt afford to come here anyway …
'After the end of the operating day other members of the surgical team came to me (in a low voice and with the door closed) to share their concerns about the threat to patient safety.'Dr Rogozov claimed colleagues had long-standing concerns but added ‘no one dared to highlight this issue because they feared being accused of racism or intolerance’.Dr
Rogozov also spoke of an incident where a male doctor recited extracts from the Koran during surgery, and claimed Muslim staff took prayer breaks during operations.
Yes, this was also a non-story, for 16 years, until it became a story.
I agree with you, however it is not Poles and Bulgarians that are cutting peoples’ heads off and blowing buses up. Nor does large part of them despise British ways of life.
So much about Indian surgeon and Czech biscuit maker.
In a series of questions on the terror threat in Britain, 4% said
they sympathised with people who took part in suicide bombings (1% said
they completely sympathised and 3% said they sympathised to some
extent), and 4% said they sympathised with people who committed
terrorist actions as a form of political protest generally.
Nearly a quarter (23%) supported the introduction of sharia law in
some areas of Britain, and 39% agreed that “wives should always obey
their husbands”, compared with 5% of the country as a whole. Two-thirds
(66%) said they completely condemned people who took part in stoning
adulterers, and a further 13% condemned them to some extent. Nearly a
third (31%) thought it was acceptable for a British Muslim man to have
more than one wife, compared with 8% of the wider population.
Indians tend to be Hindu not Muslim …
With 14% being Muslim you can arrive at some 200.000 Indian Muslims living in UK.
If the general poll is representative, than you arrive at 100.000 thinking homosexuality should be illegal, 8.000 sympathizing with Islamic terrorist actions and 14.000 supporting ISIS notwithstanding what means it uses, 120.000 severally anti-semitic, 80.000 severally anti- female equality.
I guess it is all good as long as you are not a Jewish lesbian, right?
But what do I know. In my country when a single Afghani asylum seeker tries to grope one nurse, the Prime Minister has to go answer angry Members of Parliament.
Is there anything that dosnt remind the left of Hitler?
its passed !
the most beautiful headline to ever be written
Congrats. Rule Britannia ( that’s the only fucking time you’ll hear me say that).
Here is a nazi comparision that actually fits.
On 15 March 1939, the German Wehrmacht moved into the remainder of Czechoslovakia and, from Prague Castle, Hitler proclaimed Bohemia and Moravia the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The very same day the commander in Chief of the German Army issued a decree ordering all Czechs to hand in all their firearms under severe punishment.
On 14 March 2017, the EU parliament, under the false pretense of anti-terrorist fight, using new procedural option to not allow voting on proposed amendments, ordered Czechs to hand in their firearms.
Well played EU. At least they are self-aware, choosing the right anniversary.
I still like the SS comparison more
And 7 dead wives later.
Well you know sometimes when your staff can’t provide what you need you have to make a few cuts …to the neck area
It’s a tough world
That depends on the outcome of the following:
- Czech Republic suit against the European Commission for illegality of the DIrective (government has ordered lawyers to start preparations in January).
- Whether the proposed amendment to constitution will be passed (it was lodged in January by 36 MPs - a large number - and needs 3/5 of Parliament support to pass).
- What way will the “Finnish-Swiss militia” exception be implemented in the country. Right now Ministry of Interior as well as Ministry of Defense are fighting among each other who will propose a better way of circumventing the directive through the militia exception.
-
How will the 2017 Czech elections end. Main opposition party (ODS) already pledged not to implement the directive. Gun laws were NEVER politicized issue (not even after the only mass shooting that happened three years ago). Now they will be one of the MAIN election issues, with many hundred thousand voters being single election issue voters.(I would vote for the current president in 2018 if he is the most pro-gun candidate, something I could not imagine admitting just a few weeks ago). The party that is most favored to win was until now quiet on the topic, today several of its members became vocal against the Directive (FYI, this party’s Dita Charanzová did amazing job on the Directive as far as it was possible, she is now probably the most known MEP among all EU gun owners).
http://www.charanzova.cz/upload/1417122466.jpg - Outcome of Switzerland referendum. There is already movement under way in Switzerland to call referendum that would frustrate implementation of the directive in the country and subsequent departing from a number of bilateral Swiss-EU agreements, among them also Schengen agreement. This would probably put a lot of pressure on the Commission and Council to negotiate special exception for Switzerland as as whole. Czech Republic would not sign on such exception without getting its own (international agreements need to be closed by unanimity, we can’t be overvoted).
- What will the implementation be. We have been since 2003 circumventing existing directive which states that a person must have a “good cause” in order to be eligible for gun license. Here, good cause means ticking a box that says “protection of life, health and property”. In most other countries “good cause” means meeting a set of fucked up requirements that usually include one year weekly practice at range (I know this for a fact in Germany, Sweden, and suppose most countries have it this way).
- Future of Czech Membership EU. If this comes today and we get fucked for refusing to take refugees next month (it is on Commission’s agenda), leaving EU will become a real option in this election.
- Possible terror attack by German terrorists. German secret service is now getting information on 4 new possible Islamic terrorists A DAY. It takes 2 hours to drive to Prague from Dresden, three from Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg. If one of the assholes decides to go on killing spree in Prague instead of Berlin or Munich, we will have borders closed the next morning (we just had large scale police/military exercise on closing border with Poland past week), leaving Schengen the next week, and referendum on EU within 5 months (and I am not exaggerating). I am not saying the referendum would have clear outcome, but it would happen; anyways, this directive would never get implemented.
