Patiente is one thing but begging them to just take more time and postpone even more is an entirely different thing.

Oh i dont want them to take more time than they need.
The tactical rifle courses we were taking part in so far were focusing on 25 - 100 meters distances. Which is just fine for my stock vz.58 with open sights. Jim Smith course is going for 25 - 300 meters.
So I spent last week figuring out whether to trick out my vz.58 for € 800 (before optics etc.) or to get a new AR for €1.500. Discount down to €1.200… well I should be picking up PAR MK3 in 14,5’’ by the end of this week.
Gonna need full gear though… optics, spotting cope, bipod, shooting mat, rangefinder… This is gonna be one hell of an expensive shootout, but IMHO just the opportunity to shake hands and have common photo with the guy is worth it… not to mention learning something from him.
(Mine will have full length rail)
@sirwarriant are any closer to getting your AR?
Yeah, have enough money, I think I’ll have my father build it since it will be much cheaper and better than one from a store like cabelas. He’s also able to do background checks so more money saved for me that way, but i’ll have to wait till he moves into his new house which could take a month or two.
Any preferences on the set-up?
I wanted mine to be in green ceracote and with a different front rail system, unfortunately I can’t wait for those because I need to move forward with paperwork to be able to get them to Slovakia… and I need gun paperwork through for that first.

Rip free speech in the U.K
Seeing this just makes me appreciate this that much more.
I would want it identical to the one my father had, i loved that thing, but he sold it unfortunately, before i had a job other wise i would have purchased it from him.
Had a heavy military style barrel, dragons head compensator on the front (really reduced the recoil, and ars already have hardly any) a vertical forward grip, and a holo sight.
He built it with parts on the advice of my step grandpa, who was in Nam and pretty much just tinkers with guns now that he’s in retirement. But i’ll have to see.
I’ll try and find a picture, the thing was really nice, and cheap as well only around 600 i believe. I just wish i had purchased one prior to the ban on 30 round mags ( would have allowed me to legally use them even after the “Ban”) but i was too young at the time.
Direct impingment or gas piston?
I will probably also get dealer’s license in a year or two in order to buy several full auto guns (I want to gradually get full Czech/oslovak pistol/rifle/SMG/MG/sniper army line from 1916 till now and then move on to another country line.
Where do you live in again?
Bought 60 RDS Magpul two weeks ago. I would normally never spit €200 for that, but hey, it’s EuGunBan time…
Not sure, i’d have to ask. I feel like it’s gas though.
Is it difficult there? Took my father several months, plus AFT inspections.
Colorado, the ban was implemented after the Aurora movie theatre shooting. Ironically the fact that he was using a 100 round mag probably saved people, due to how many times it jammed. If you use a gun built prior to the ban you can legally use a mag size over 15.
Just a shame that the theatre he choose was one of seven in that area, the only thing that made it stand out was not allowing CC.
Not particularly easy but quite straightforward.
Getting full-auto on common civilian license is easy, but not straightforward.
Lovely. I am going to Alps for the summer holidays, can’t wait.
Wow, water can flow sideways. Amazing!
Why did you do that? I mean, great pictures, but why don´t you post them in the right direction?
I’m not sure why the first one is sideways, i uploaded them from my phone.
Does it require home inspection?
That’s been photo shopped surly !
